I really need Bill Simmons to shut the ____ up. His opinion of anything associated with Doc Rivers is irrelevant since he clearly hates the guy. Talk about somebody being in their feelings. I'm sure he watched Ms. Holtkamp's display last night with glee.

So Glad he's no longer on the ESPN NBA broadcasts...

He did have a point though...that tech on him on the out of bounds was ridiculous. He didn't call her out her name, cuss or anything. The others were borderline. I wouldn't have called them but the Clippers are known whiners so you don't get the benefit of the doubt.

Because if it was a male referree, he would just ***** and complain about the call... Don't think anyone who has complained about a call has said 'this might not be for him'

she's a rookie though and not the first female referee in the league 
 
The fines going to be huge but I really dont think he meant for it to be construed in such a manner. Just bad choice of words. He's not an idiot.
 
The media hyping it up not making it better for both parties. Now, she will have an even larger spotlight on her.

I completely disagree...rookie ref...bad call. I think he would've treated a rookie male ref the same IF NOT WORSE!
 
Ehh na. I'm sure players have complained about rookie refs before but doubt anyone has outright questioned their choice to make this their livelihood like that

he didnt do it! hes a standup member of the community. media just hyping this up cuz theres nothing else to talk about. remember how quick "deflategate" died out, but how you couldnt get away from it
 
I have never heard an athlete say about an official's career "this might not be for him", rookie ref or not

If someone has a quote from another situation, then I would definitely see it differently

If this was race it would be a different story and not the "media making something out of nothing" line

Agree again. Bill Simmons just shout not talk about the Clippers. He always comes off sounding like a petulant person with a grudge.
