He's putting up 21, 10 and 4. Not like he's playing like a bum, but I'll be honest and say he has been a little disappointing. But the whole team has. Can't single him out.

The Clips four losses this season are to the Warriors, Kings, Spurs and Bulls. All good teams that are playing very well right now. They have 5 wins. So, what's that tell me? That they're a good, but not elite team right now. I have faith they can get better; I just don't know what has to click. Maybe this road trip will be good for them. Force them to focus more.

its not like that when the bulls play the lakers though. only when they play the offbrand lakers. The Lakers, as garbage as they are, every city is a home game.

One of the main differences between the Grizz this season and last season is their backcourt play. Courtney Lee was not apart of the team til midway through last season and now he's been able to go through a full training camp. Grizz backcourt numbers this season:

Conley - 17ppg / 6apg / 2rpg / 1.5spg / 20 PER / 55% TS (He's also been producing at a high level over the last 6 games)
Lee - 15ppg / 2apg / 3rpg / 1.2spg / 21 PER / 72% TS

Since Conley emerged a few seasons ago, he never had an efficient backcourt partner. He had to deal with a Tony Allen and Tayshaun Prince duo in 2011-12 and last season he only had Lee for half a season. If Memphis is going to make a significant run this season, Lee is the ex-factor as long as Conley can continue his production.

Grizz have 4 players with a PER of 20+ . The bench production has been inconsistent, but they are slowly coming together. I'm hoping when Calathes return, he can help create easier shots for VC, Q and Leuer. I'm expecting Joerger to run a two PG backcourt with Calathes and Udrih (since he's been playing really well this season).

I'm looking forward to the Grizz @ Raps game tomorrow. I'll end up missing it because I'm out of town for work tho :smh: . Conley vs Lowry :pimp:

I'll give you that. chicagoans never fully accepted kobe lol. they always felt like he was biting haha

ahhhh I was suspended this past week, I never got to comment on How courtney Lee repeated history with that layup to win the game. Dude missed it in that finals series with the Lakers, but dude made good against the kings. I know that haunted him for years.

Grizz are looking great. Idk if its fools gold, but for right now, they are playing amazing basketball. Hard to tell if it is sustainable though.

that missed reverse cost Lee so much damn money..... & helped break up that orlando squad that was thier finals to take & they blew it

I think this team is for real. The reason why they struggled last season was due to so many injuries and having to adjust to Courtney Lee coming aboard. I'm not sure about going to the Finals JUST YET, but they will definitely be a 50 win team this season. I never understood why people wrote them off as not making the playoffs because they were easily going to be in this season

I'm not sure on Crawford for TA, even though I would possibly welcome it. :nerd: The only reason is due to the Grizz being successful without TA and I think Conley, Lee, Prince, Pondexter, along with Marc anchoring will continue to make the Grizz a top 2-3 team defensively. The only issue for me is that TA tends to step his game up come playoff time and he would be needed against the likes of a Durant, Harden, etc.

I could see us finishing top 4 in the west and hosting a first round series, just need everyone to stay healthy. This might be our last season to be competitive especially with Marc on the brink of free agency. And of course, Vince Carter's last shot at a championship

^reminds me of the pistons team that won it all. tough defense, and timely shots. conley can hold his own with any pg in this league. would like them to add another shooter to space the floor. who filled the mike miller role, vince?

I think this core has a 2 year window right now. I'm pretty confident they will retain Marc in the offseason, along with adding another major piece to the starting five @ SF. The team will have a nice chunk of change if they decide to use it BEFORE re-signing Marc. Koufos and Prince both come off the books ($10M+) in the offseason, plus Zbo's contract will reduce by about $4M. Even if they don't use the money to sign a free agent outright, I expect them to use it to make a trade.

Yea, VC. He's been recovering from offseason surgery, so he's been up and down to start the season. I'm hoping by midseason he's ready to contribute the way he did in Dallas the last few seasons.

its a huge catch 22 because crawford will cook but he cant hold harden,kd etc...
