3 game road trip coming up for the Warriors (3 games in 4 nights)

@DAL
@NOP
@MEM

The streak will more than likely end here and they may possibly lose 2 out of 3. They also have OKC the Thursday after that stretch. :x

If they win 3 out of 4 or go undefeated in that stretch :x

I used to get flamed so hard for saying I wanted Barnes over mkg

Mark Jackson held him back. Glad he's playing well

YUP.. Should've never benched him

barnes said something like mark wanted him in iso situations and that wasnt his game. talking about even the elite players shoot a low percentage when going one on one.
said kerr got him moving and cutting and putting him better position to succeed

You should still get flamed for that.

Barnes is shooting like 48% from mid range, that will almost certainly regress, he's not dirk.

Is Barnes playing better, sure, but he was a disaster last year, MKG is already better and younger.

But, he's shooting 45% from 3 where a little over 30% of his shots are coming from. The other 30% is coming from 0-3 FT out where he's 74%. Only 18% of his shots are coming from midrange (16 ft >). Include 10-16 feet and its about 27%. I'll say he's going to make his living from 3 and attacking the rim, which he's doing very well in. Even if his midrange % goes down, I can see him maintaining a high 3PT %.

and that will regress as well he's not ray allen.

He's a solid NBA player, nice small ball four against bench units but I don't see potential for much more, and MKG is already better.

Eh, it's debatable for who's the better player and Barnes is 22 while MKG is 21.. As bad as Barnes was last season the playoff run he had his first year and his start to this season certainly makes me think twice. It more depends on what your team needs. I'd rather have Barnes for sure though due to his offensive capabilities.

MKG has yet to take a single 3 point shot this season :lol:

I love MKG, but I would take Barnes over him if I'm Memphis considering we need more outside shooting than defense. With the league being more about shooting the 3 ball, Barnes can be considered just as valuable as MKG on any NBA team (IF he can continue to shoot at a 40% clip). Teams just are not paying a lot of money for non 3 point threats. You have a guy like Tony Allen that got something around 4yrs/$16M, which is less than Jodie Meeks :lol:

The NBA season is not down, stop it. It's as interesting as ever and it's been trending that way since Dirk/JET/Tyson took down LeBron in his first year in Miami & then since the lockout shortly after.

I checked out the Atlanta Hawks on Basketball Reference to sort of check out what's led them to their 15-6 record so far this year (I bet the over on their 40 O/U win-loss total):

Pero Antic and Shelvin Mack both average over two 3-pointers a game, and Thabo Sefolosha launches 1.6 per game in the time he receives off the bench.

Thabo is shooting 13.3% from three. My god.
Antic 25.0%
Mack 22.9%

That's negated by DeMarre Carroll and Jeff Teague, who are both shooting over 40 percent from deep, and Kyle Korver, who's posted an insane 56.1% from three. ****! Carroll has been rebounding the hell out of the ball as well.

Atlanta's top 10 in the NBA in both PTS/G and PTS Allowed/G.

They began the year 1-3 (losses AT Toronto, AT San Antonio and AT Charlotte in double overtime) but have gone 14-3 since :wow: They face the Orlando Magic in back-to-back games coming up here... and if they win both (they'll be favored to) they'll be on a 10-game winning streak when they host the Chicago Bulls on Monday night.

OKB has never ever admitted he is wrong so I don't know why you guys try btw I think MKG is still better than Barnes.
