The 2014-2015 NBA Season Thread. Lock It Up Please: The Golden State Warriors Are The Champions

The NBA season is not down, stop it. It's as interesting as ever and it's been trending that way since Dirk/JET/Tyson took down LeBron in his first year in Miami & then since the lockout shortly after.

I checked out the Atlanta Hawks on Basketball Reference to sort of check out what's led them to their 15-6 record so far this year (I bet the over on their 40 O/U win-loss total):

Pero Antic and Shelvin Mack both average over two 3-pointers a game, and Thabo Sefolosha launches 1.6 per game in the time he receives off the bench.

Thabo is shooting 13.3% from three. My god.
Antic 25.0%
Mack 22.9%

That's negated by DeMarre Carroll and Jeff Teague, who are both shooting over 40 percent from deep, and Kyle Korver, who's posted an insane 56.1% from three. ****! Carroll has been rebounding the hell out of the ball as well.

Atlanta's top 10 in the NBA in both PTS/G and PTS Allowed/G.

They began the year 1-3 (losses AT Toronto, AT San Antonio and AT Charlotte in double overtime) but have gone 14-3 since :wow: They face the Orlando Magic in back-to-back games coming up here... and if they win both (they'll be favored to) they'll be on a 10-game winning streak when they host the Chicago Bulls on Monday night.

they will get thier heads opened up vs Chicago

I have plenty of times, but I don't admit to things that aren't true.

It just seems like you are one of those guys who are very firm with their respective opinion no matter if the other guy brings up a different fact/stat to justify his argument no hate though keep flourishing.

Any chance Korver gets some all star love if the hawks keep winning, and he keeps up this pace?

I know it might be a reach, but he's playing at an insane level from a shooting percentage and defending well as usual.

If it's true that the Nets want Williams gone.... Would they do a trade with the Pistons for Smith & Jennings. I would say the Pistons biggest problems are Smith not being able to play with Drummond/Monroe... & SVG not really messing with Jennings.

D-Will on the pistons would give him a resurgence under SVG & The nets would get someone to start for KG, while also being able to start Jack & keep Jennings off the bench in a sixth man role.

It would also save the Nets money in the long run.
