my bad if posted, but the new raptors logo has been added to merchandise and it's :x :smh: ....Gold and Black is supposedly the alternate color. Drake and his poor influences :x

Just look at that hat, to the average person they won't even know that logo is somehow related to the Raptors. :x looks like MS clipart.

Looks like the Nets logo with a Raptors theme. I hate that they removed Dino, but that's a personal preference.

The new Raptors logo is just like the new Jurassic Park trailer...hot garbage.

No man I said if you say coaching is 50/50 to players quest to get rings then maybe bad coaching has screwed some great players out of a ring over their career?

If so....then name the great players who were affected

Where did I mention Jerry Sloan or George Karl as bad coaches?

Coaching is 50/50, you acting like these all time greats were guaranteed titles since draft night

Every star isnt gonna win a title, the stars who won titles obviously had great coaching, saying jordan & duncan were gonna win rings regardless of the coach is clown talk

Where did I say they were guaranteed rings?

I said they didn't need Phil and Popovich to win rings

That's not clown talk

If Larry Bird can win rings with Bill Fitch and KC Jones

I'm confident Jordan and Duncan could win rings with another good coach

When has of
As long as CP3 gets to the finals once or twice (which may now be a long shot) I'll consider him as an All-Time great without any asterisk

If he doesn't, I'd still consider him one of best to play the point guard position, they'll just be a BUT clouding over his legacy

Stockton/Malone, Barkley, Ewing, Payton, Reggie, Iverson all at least made the finals

Paul might fit in here with guys like Dominique Wilkins, Gervin, Alex English, Lanier, Bernard King, Pistol.. or more current guys like Webber, Nash who have never made the finals either but still mentioned with the greats
Again, it is a TEAM sport. Those players didn't make the finals. Their TEAMS made the finals.

To all the people who don't count Titles or winning towards a players status in history I have a question. When you guys think of MJ and his greatness you don't factor in his 6 rings or Finals MVPs? That plays no part in what makes him great to you an it's just a side note?
Some of you like to take things out of context. Nobody said winning doesn't matter.

I am simply saying that NOT winning shouldn't be a knock on a player considering the ring distribution in NBA History has only gone to a select group of people.

Only one team can win per year. That doesn't mean every other star player of the remaining teams didn't do a good job of leading their teams.

That is where the confusion lies in our arguments.

CP3 has one of the best coaches in the league whose already got a ring with Rondo. Who's not holding up their end of the bargin. The great coach or player?
That is such faulty logic man.

The Celtic squad that won that ring is clearly a better team, in comparison to the rest of the league, than these recent Clippers are in comparison to the rest of the league now.

When should the Clippers have won a ring and "choked." Since you are saying CP3 isn't holding up his end of the deal.

Were they supposed to win last year? Or the year before?

I am not understanding some of the points being made here.

CP3 is far from being an all time great.
What The *****? Seriously?

If someone has arguably been the best at their position for close to a decade, I would think that would put them in contention for being an ALL TIME great. Not sure what your qualifications are but I am interested in hearing why CP3 is NOT considered an all time great by you

exactly, you dont expect the clippers to beat okc because okc has 2 top 5 players

as in, okc is better because their best players are better than the clippers best players

as in, if chris paul was better than westbrook and/or kd you probably would expect him to win

as in, chris paul is not good enough to win.

stop blaming coaching or lack of supporting cast or bench. kd has the exact same excuses but he moves on to the next round because he's the better player
The collection of talent on the Clipper team is not good enough to be EXPECTED to beat OKC.

It is not because CP3 isn't good enough. There are other players on that team man,

And since WHEN did we start blaming PG's for their team's success? (Other than Westbrook, whole different topic) As if a team in which the PG was the best player has won a championship over the last 25 years. I will wait.

It hasn't happened. Isaiah Thomas and the Pistons was the last time a PG was clearly the best player of a championship team. So based on that information alone, we are seriously going to blame Chris Paul for NOT winning a ring? Come on man.

Anything that completely kills the cartoon dinosaur is an upgrqade. I don't love the font choice and would have preferred no silver. but overall i think it's solid versitile and simple.

the comparisons to the brooklyn nets logo is basically that its a circular basketball logo, which 60% of the logos in the league so that doens't bother me.
