Yep, I don't think it's a slam dunk, instant WCF appearance move, but at the same time you do it. Because right now I think they're a long shot to get to the WCF's.. even though they obviously look pretty good. Matchup wise, who would you favor Dallas over at this point? Maybe Rondo takes them to another level... you kind of just have to roll the dice

Not a bad deal for Boston considering they basically had to trade Rondo. Wright and Crowder are still young guys with some upside and its generally not a bad thing to have an extra 1st round pick. Deal makes sense for both sides, IMO. Not sure it makes Dallas an automatic conference finalist because the West is so loaded, but like VVH said, it was worth it for them to roll the dice on this deal.
