I thought with the Laker thread unbearable to enter I could at least count on the NBA thread this season being reliable for basketball talk and less trolling.

I thought wrong.

Antidope gonna ' Antidope.

*sigh* My search for a decent nba thread continues.

This has to be the only long-running thread in S&T that gets bogged down by regulars having arguments with trolls. :smh:  How are y'all in here every day and don't know who the **** to NOT pay attention to? Maybe ****** just like entertaining stupidity on a daily basis, idk. Dudes take the bait way too easy.

since we're talking about players that make teammates better, what about players that didnt push themselves to be as good as their potential?

Talked about this with a friend of mine Replace Lillard with prime Brandon Roy what happens?

I was a big B-Roy fan, but I think the Blazers would be in pretty much the same place if he was on the roster instead of Lillard. A lower seeded playoff team in the West.

Let Dame be great, he has just as much potential as Roy had.

Roy at 23: 19/4/6 45% FG, 34% 3's on 3 attempts a game.

Dame at 23: 20/3/6 42%FG 39% 3's on 7 attempts a game.

B-Roy could have had it all though.

I disagree. Roy was on a tier just below Wade & Kobe and above Joe Johnson.

He wouldn't have gotten shut down like Lillard was against the Spurs. Roy was gave Battier 27 a game in his lone playoff series before the injuries

And it's not really an either or thing with Roy & Dame because the Dame pick came from Brooklyn when Portland moved Crash. So they could've conceivably had both guys
