AS A GENERAL RULE, the safest way to avoid being offensive is to avoid saying anything about the PERSON, and just offer a rebuttal.
"You're stupid. Jordan has 6 rings, moron" is offensive.
"Jordan has 6 rings, so there's that" is not offensive.
Only difference: the part about the person talking has been removed.
"You drunk? Kawhi ain't leaving SA. They won't let him" is legit-ish; just tae out the part about the other person, the "You drunk" part, the part w/ "You" in it.

Took a lot of lumps on social media today.....clippers fans....
I swear I laugh because when the clippers were horrible I said not a word to their fan base....now all of the sudden it's the in thing to do. Just bash the lakers....smh

All guys crossed out either unavailable (Kanter & Leonard) or not worth anything, even Brewer who I thought was cut by Chicago, but I could be wrong.
I'd honestly go after Butler. Bulls have a short window, and will have to pay Noah in 2016 then Rose & Gibson in 2017. Paying Butler the $8-10mil he'll get will leave barely a crack in that window because most of their salary will be accounted for, and no 2nd option on offense.
Will Bulls trade him? Probably not. But could be forced to by the deadline if they are worried about losing him.

I live in NY. So Knicks fans try to slander the Lakers I say 1 of two things.
1. My father is turning 55 in February, he was 13 years old when the Knicks last won a title
2. I went to college, added an extra year of undergrad, got my masters, and have been out of school for a year. The Knicks last contended when I was in the 4th grade.
Shuts them up quickly.
