We're going to have a horrible record too. Melo is likely to check out.

Don't get too ahead of yourselves... Andrew Goudelock would like to have a word with all of you over this excitement about Jordan Clarkson.

I see your point. But Clarkson can actually find a position once he settles in at either guard spot. Quicker and definitely more explosive and a better finisher..glock can shoot the rock though...The only way to find out is to get 15-20 mins minimum from here on out...

so we got Dallas next off a loss, huh...

It's funny..The clips had utah/bricks/sixers....then an embarrassment to atl...I knew itd a buzz saw. Cupcake *** schedule.

Oh most definitely, he needs his minutes.. But we've seen too many 2nd rounders have 1 good game and then disappear.

It's why I like Kelly because he had a solid season, not just a set of games. He's proven to me that he can be a very good bench player. And had a solid night (only from stat line, didn't see the game)

Rotation should be:

Guards - Lin, Ellington, Clarkson, Kobe (Ronnie Price needs to go, does nothing of substance, and Ellington is at least less than 30, shoots and defends better)
SF - Wes & Swaggy (split 24)
Bigs - Davis, Boozer, Kelly, Black, Sacre

Hill & Price have to be dealt.

I feel like we need to make a couple of trades.

1. To get another 1st Round Pick. I'm only asking for 1, in this draft. And no matter what I would use that newly acquired 1st, the 2nd to move up. If the return is big enough in terms of moving up, I'd throw in the Rockets pick too. Imagine if we could get up to 13. And have #4 & #13

2. To get a young reclamation project that has a couple of cheap years on contract or an up and coming player who you are taking a chance on to developing into something special.

We have Hill, Lin, Davis, Price, Wes and the Steve Nash exemption... Have to be able to get that out of what we have.

I believe both of those are possible. Just depends on how much we give up. Packaging Lin, Hill & our 2nd round pick seems like enough to get a 1st rounder slightly higher than Houstons. At least in my mind. But that also may be too much.

I wish there was some sort of end game in a bunch of trades to get Harrison Barnes. My hope is that trade 1 could get us him in trade 2.

But he won't be on the market :smh:

My pipe dreams :frown:

Probably not moving lin and hill together since you would have to take back about 17-18 mill in the deal. Unless you're willing to take back a D Will, Joe Johnson or Eric Gordon.

Even if its just one of them we're probably gonna have to take on a bad deal (Javale Mcgee, Gerald Wallace). That kills cap space for this summer.

I think it's time to be realistic with the trade value of some of these guys. Lin was just traded WITH  a 1st rd pick just to get him off the team(they were desperate for cap space but still) Dont think a team is going to give up a 1st to have him for half a season.

I honestly dont think J Hill's trade value is that high either. I think one of the bigs on a contender is going to have to suffer a major injury (Cle/Mozgov) in order to get anything good for him.

Ed Davis might have the best value because he's so cheap and is useful but he's free to leave at the end of the year.

Even with that, they still have to unload these guys simply to get the young players some PT. That's a win in itself. If Jim and Mitch can get anything then they deserve a lot of credit.

Maybe things will change in the summer when Draymond needs to get paid. Hopefully by then the Lakers have a few more things to trade.

Or they could just chase Draymond...
