Would lance Stevenson and a first round pick to the Hornets for jhill work?

They get rid of him. They get better in the front court.
And we get a guy ready to contribute to the tank. And a first rounder?

:nerd:

Doubt it but still something to look at.

I think there's a few things surrounding why no deal yet, and it all surrounds the January 15th date for Jordan Hill. (If it was me).

1. Tarik Black is cheap. Doesn't help or hurt the tank either way. No reason to trade him unless you get an offer too good to be true.
2. Robert Sacre is cheap. Doesn't help or hurt the tank either way. No reason to trade him unless you get an offer too good to be true.
3. I think Ed Davis is someone they want/ intend to keep long term, but will trade him if need be. If you can't trade Jordan Hill then you trade Ed Davis. But if you trade Ed Davis, then trade Hill, I don't think they see that as optimal.

I think these 2 teams are the best deals out there for Hill. And will get a 1st.

OKC - A bit over $2mil in luxury tax. Maybe we could squeeze Jeremy Lamb out of it as well simply as a reclamation project / getting OKC under tax. Or simply Perkins / Collison for Hill / Price.
TOR - Fields & Hansbrough for Hill. They need rebounding badly, and the ability to control Hill for another season is big especially when they face the possibility of losing Amir Johnson to FA.

It won't happen, but what about Hill for KG?

They were interested in Hill last season.

Seeing Marcus Smart, Nik Stauskaus play makes me more and more comfortable with Julius Randle, even with the season ending injury Game 1.

Vonleh has been injured, so no opinion on him.

Elfried Payton looks decent, has shaky stats, but he'll be okay. But Payton was never projected that high, and picking him on draft night would have sent all of us to our deaths.

if we trade for kg and convince nash to come back we might have been able to win a title in 2006

No Kobe tonight. Weird.
Maybe Mitch pulled him..

Embraced the Tank.

Don't give Scott too much credit. They've been playing decent without Kobe. He could just see this as a game they could possibly win without him while giving him rest.

Ryan Kelly looks damn good on Offense and Rebounding.

Not great at defense as a 3 but even Jesus didn't have it all.
