The 3rd spot is there for the taking and they just keep winning man...

Very frustrating

Gonna suck if we get jumped out of the top 5 by two teams with better records

Does anyone know how it goes? Like does it go by top 5 record wise or is it top 5 after the draft?

Like say we finish with the 5th worst record but on draft day a team jumps ahead and make us drop to the 6th pick

Does it still go to philly?

Top 3 lottery, goes to record after that. At the 4th worst record, there's an 82% we keep the pick.

At bottom three it's like upper 90s

Right. What I mean is we get jumped (because of the lotto), it goes to philly.

Anyways..say they win 7 more gms(projected+looking ahead)...that's 22-60...I'd say that's bottom 3. As long as we don't endure this for wcs or porzingis...I'll be content.

Damned if we do, damned if we don't in some games.

Jazz lost that, we didn't win it. 21 Turnovers, and 12 missed FTs. We had 16 more shots at the basket. We were out-rebound.

Jazz blew it.

Also nothing we can do when the young guys are the reason you won. Clarkson best game of career, and an 8 point swing because of Ed Davis that gave us the lead.

But son of a ***** we could have used this loss.

Man why do we keep on trying to win games???? It's so frustrating, literally no point :smh:

Not sure they tried so much as the Jazz just blew it. They should have won by 25, but lost by 3. Because of turnovers, and missed FTs.

Agreed.

Who are you talking at 5?

I don't see anything in WCS. I'd take winslow

At 5. Depends.. I go WCS or Stanley Johnson.

WCS will never be a superstar, but he'd be an amazing piece going forward. Especially alongside Randle. If nothing else, he should be an elite, versatile defender for the next decade who finishes around the rim. I'd pick Johnson over him, but WCS is a relatively "safe" pick at 5 imo

I want my credit for being the first, by far, to hype and believe in Clarky in the NBA.

I don't see anything in WCS.
Immediate rim protector at the next level. You can't teach length and wingspan. Plus he has relatively soft hands on the offensive end.

Winslow's offensive game feels NBA ready, but I'm not taking him or Stan over WCS.

Welp, you did call clarky. But then again I believed in him too :nerd:

Johnson offensive game is horrid

His offensive game isn't horrid. He'll have to work on it, if he wants to be a 2 way player, but he's got some good starting points. There's some guys who have no starting points at all when drafted in the lottery.

He has a Kobe mentality. He wants the pressure, and he'd want it Day 1.

Defensively though, he will be a huge pain in the *** for guys for a long time. He's a really big guy, and can still move quickly on D.

Admittedly I hate Arizona basketball being a ucla fan.

So yea, my biases show through.
But maybe. I do see the jimmy butler comparison.

 Ahhhh that's where the Jordan Hill hatred comes from.

Guy his game is most likely to be.

Jimmy really busted his *** to make that jump this year to a Max Level Star. Everyone says Stan has that fire and is self-motivated, hopefully he doesn't get complacent.

If he can be a Jimmy Butler type, I assume it will happen faster because he'll be a day 1 starter, Jimmy was trapped on the bench year 1.
