There was a point the first handful of games he actually made all the bench players better, and was a huge reason Ed Davis was doing well.

Then any effectiveness fell off a cliff, sans a game or two in the past 10

Yea I think he just cant handle the mental pressure to be a starter for the Los Angeles Lakers. Too much pressure for him. Especially
playing alongside Kobe. His confidence is sho. He's lost himself.

Well let's hope we don't find a replacement for him the same way we did Ramon Sessions

Pretty much every game, Kobe is 8/17, or 7/15, then finishes 8/22 or 8/21.

No correlation to wear and tear tho.

I'm still upset Nash got the MVP over him. I don't remember if it was when Nash won his first or second, but I remember feeling that Kobe was robbed.

Kobe didn't get it in 2006 because the Lakers were the 7th or 8th seed that season.

The regular season MVP award is voted on by the media and sports writers and they never have or will vote for a player who's team is not in the top 3 seeds in their conference.

its going to be a real challenge to lose games to teams like the jazz and wolves

then add in some games we have no reason winning like the rockets game

so thats like 22-24 ish wins, probably not good enough to be top 5

Eh, if/when Kobe wears down, that will help.

And Minny will get Rubio, Pek, and Martin back, that will help too.

And if Mitch is using his brain this year, he tries to sell off Lin/Hill soon as possible.

At some point, they gotta know there's too much at stake to chase an extra 3 wins or whatever like last year. If they don't get that, we're already screwed.
