Nick Young should've gotten a signature Nike line b4 Kyrie and even Harden imo... From a marketing stand point Nike could've done so much w/ Swaggy personality

Bottom line, more a holes win that nice guys. Best of the best too.

And again, today's "issue" was full blown outta proportion rhetoric, with Kobe bustin chops in practice. He's praised these guys all year. They won their last game, they got nothin to squabble over. He simply trash talked with the guys durin practice. Just more over reactin cuz it's Kobe.
 
I wonder if that's because there are far more aholes than nice guys, especially in sports... or if it's because 'ahole = championship'.

Alot people will turn into aholes if you give them enough money and power

All it takes is one mistake and you will get lumped into the ahole pile

You have to work like a lifetime to earn a good or nice guy title

If it was easy to say aholes win and good or nice guys don't, then GMs would be looking for aholes instead of trying to build whole organizations around the "right" guys

Look at the Spurs, they have built the foundation of their organization around "good" guys

dude was all nba first or second team every year he won a title but shaq won him the rings? 
 
But tank? As far as Lakers president Jeanie Buss is concerned, tanking is "unforgivable" and "irresponsible."

"I think the teams that use that as a strategy are doing damage," Buss said as part of a wide-ranging ESPN The Magazine joint interview with her brother, and Lakers president of player personnel, Jim Buss. "If you're in a tanking mode and you're doing that for three years or whatever, that means you've got young players from the years that you were at the bottom that you're teaching bad habits to. I think that's unforgiveable.

Jim Buss, who along with general manager Mitch Kupchak, put the current roster together, called it "insulting" to even question whether the Lakers would consider tanking in order to hold on to what could be a top-5 pick.
