Good one tonight, Blake vs AD. Another game that we should win, however The Pelicans have some talent so on any given night they can make a game interesting.

I don't expect a blowout, but I expect us to pull away in the fourth and win pretty convincingly. Let's keep this win streak going!
 


Also, don't know how to embed but i'm excited for this. Behind the scenes stuff is always cool as hell to me.
 
I am very impressed with how the team is looking in the first quarter. Ball movement and defense is on point.

In other news, first game EVER that Ralph Lawler is missing the game...get well OhMeOMy!
 
Through 20 games the Clips are arguably better than they've ever been in the CP3, Blake, and DJ era.


And for the first time during that era, it doesn't feel like that's the case to most. It's almost as if the Clips are flying under the radar. But with winning 15 of your first 20 games, I'll take that. The thing I've loved the most about these first 20 games, and this shows legit growth, is the way they are handling teams that they are supposed to beat. They are beating the **** out of them. They aren't letting those slide. Those are the real must wins that'll help when we're battling for playoff positioning in March and April. Last year we were in legit striking distance for that first seed down the stretch, and all I could remember was loosing to LAL, Orlando, The Cavs, games that we should have won. I know some of those are coming this year, but if we could keep those as far away as possible for the time being, it would be awesome.

Got a rode trip right now starting tomorrow. Hopefully we continue to take care of business. Blake and Chris have been even better than usual in the last 9 game stretch. Straight MVP level type ****. Insane efficiency from both of those guys. Matt Barnes and JJ are finding their stroke. The Ball Movement has been incredible and I love how against PHX last night we featured blake consistently down the stretch. He has it all man and he can bring a ring to LAC.

Ready for the rode trip.

I really like that they went with BG with the game on the line. allows him to step in to that role we need him to be. two legitimate closers may prove to be what allows us to continue come April/May. Granted we did get that lucky bounce, the fact that Blake took that shot with confidence and no hesitation is all good to me. Love seeing Matt come in to his and the growth has been amazing. 2-1 at worst on this rode trip...we should be able to come home 3-0 from the trip though. :smokin

Said this about this team two weeks ago. It hasn't gotten better. This has got to change asap. One of the most overrated benches in the league that's carried by Crawford. Maybe the clips need to stagger their starters a bit so it won't be full fledged 2nd unit out there or something because this will for sure cost us.

I'm with you. I've always liked the P Jax approach of having one starter on the court at all times when it's not an absolute blow out.

Bwt, hate to be that guy but I told you guys to wait it out and let the team get it together :lol: i still see us losing in the 1st or second round but I'll be hoping for magical run.

Not a championship team right now. The way we've competed against most of the elite teams we've ran up on has been extremely discouraging a quarter of the way through the season.

Yep. Until we start beating teams that have just as good records as us, I won't be a believer.
 
Against physical and agressive teams with talent, Clips always underwhelm. Sadly those are the teams you play in the postseason.
 
The lack of bench production is a real problem. Not to make excuses for the last two losses, but I think fatigue may have played a factor. We've had a real crowded schedule so far this month and the starters have not been getting the rest they should. Blake and CP both played with less energy than usual on this trip.
 
Not a great performance last night. I give Indiana some credit for hanging tough, but the game shouldn't have been that close. We better start playing better or we may still end up with a few more Ls in December since we games coming up against the Spurs, GSW and the Hawks, who have been playing really well.
 
Looking forward to "hopefully" end this month with some quality performances against some of the upper tier teams in the league
 
Bench ****** us again. Starters game from 18 down to take a lead and the bench couldn't even protect it. So frustrating.

Tell me I haven't called it since the season started. The 2nd Unit is horrific and it legit is costing us games man. It's beyond frustrating and it's a huge issue that we have to address like asap. Something along the lines of a free agent pick up, trade, something :lol:
