Harden is great. Just we didn't do so much dumb **** to sabotage ourselves in this game.
 
This stretch of games starting tomorrow is very important to our playoff positioning. All very winnable and we need them. I do not want to drop below the 6 spot.

Yesterday's loss hurts us because we were in prime position to take that 4th seed. Would have been 1/2 game back had we won yesterday. Still think a lot has to go our way to get to 4th now, but it's possible.

You're definitely right though, definitely don't want to drop below that 6th spot for sure.
 
I'm also bothered by the fact, so far as I can remember, we haven't been very good at pulling out close games against good teams. Not a weakness that you want to have going into the playoffs.

Nate Robinson will be signed to another second 10-day contract today by the Clippers, sources.

Kind of necessary, I suppose, due to Crawford's absence. And Nate actually played better last game. He and Big Baby provided a nice spark off the bench in the second half. Hopefully, he'll continue to get better over the next 10 days.
 
You can look up post about JJ in this thread for the entire year, but especially during the GRAMMY road trip.

We've all known just how important JJ is to what we do. It's literally incredible to watch entire defenses get compromised off of JJ running his routes hard and the moment he gets a glimpse of daylight it's curtains. He's shooting almost 43% from 3, and he started the season ice cold from there. Take away his first five games, and he's at almost 46% from 3. He's been blistering hot all year essentially, and has really become a bonafide scoring option for us, and not just someone who's routes we use as a diversion of sorts.

Diving deeper into what JJ has been doing, JJ is shooting over 47% from outside of 21 feet :x :x and he's shooting 42% from +25 feet for good measure :x :x :x This is remarkable considering he's taking 5 more shots post all star break.

Don't know about the peaking part since the two games before last night were pretty lackluster, but JJ is indeed in God mode right now. Those transition spot-up 3s. :nthat:
 
Gotta take advantage of the Pels game tomorrow. We have a real shot at moving up to 3 or 4. Better not turn in one of our lackluster early game, lame sleeved uni performances.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Portland locked into a top 4 spot because they're winning their division? Even if we finish with a better record than them they'll still be a 4 seed. We need to focus on Houston and Memphis.

I'm not sure about that, actually. I think we could get HCA in a series against the Blazers if we finish with a better record even if they're technically the higher seed because of a division title. I'd have to check though.

Yea, you're right. We'll have HCA but Inwas referring to the comment about jumping to the 4 seed. I don't think we can unless Houston falls to the 5th. I mean it doesn't matter since the better record will still have HCA betwen a 4/5 but I was saying we won't actually be a 4 seed :lol:
