I think with added depth and different types of looks and less pressure, that tend can easily be reversed...and if it's not, we have added depth in guys that can score and be forceful on the offensive side of the ball.
I think the clippers are in a great position right now. Nobody is talking about us, we are being overlooked and borderline disrespected. We could be the fifth best team in the west and be eliminated in the first round. Our, we could wipe the floor with the west...warriors included. I think we could wipe the floor.
I don't think Blake nor Deandre were inconsistent in the playoffs last year and while JJ did fail us in games 5-7 against houston, he was also guarding James Harden. He was very consistent for most of last season.
That being said, I don't think we're being overlooked. A lot of people do think the Clips have a good chance at coming out of the west this year and are calling this Clippers team the deepest in the CP era. However, when you blow a 3-1 lead in the fashion that we did, we don't really deserve to be looked upon in a favorable light.
Ultimately, you win big in the NBA w/your support players. When you have 2/3 max guys on your team, you have to "hit" w/your buy - low players. Plain and simple. If you look at the performances of Blake, and CP in the postseason for the most part they've been super. So we'll see if our buy low guys (aka our new "depth") come through for us in a championship fashion.
