Not really expecting us to get out of the first round this year

I hope I am wrong

I agree with you.

I know the raptors own us so i don't want to see them. I don't want to see Indiana if they some how start moving up. They are playing great basketball right now and Rodney Stuckey has always owned us. When he was on Detriot i used to laugh that he would be mediocre all year and always show out against us.

If we can some how land Milwaukee id be ok with that. Even though MCW is playing well now too. I think we would be ok with Chicago too.

We winning if we play Raptors or Mil.

2 back to back solid wins.

Hopefully we can build some damn momentum as we head west.

I'm gonna be in SF this weekend and will be catching the kings game on sunday.

Mad that i fly back to DC monday, or else i'd be at that Warriors game, smh...

Just to put the Wizards futility as a franchise into perspective:  as poorly as they've played... if this squad can manage to go just 6-5 the rest of the way they will STILL set the bar for the team's best season since 1979.

That would mean that this team, the team that just scored 8 points in the 3rd quarter against the Warriors, the team that's gone 7-10 since All Star Weekend, the team that Randy Wittman's now accused of being more concerned with shots than stops, would represent the new high water mark for professional basketball in Washington in most of our lifetimes.

Everytime I see method post, I know it gonna dreadful, but finally post seeing something positive.

This season has been bittersweet, to have such a strong start and then fall so hard, has hurt after being accustomed to the winning ways of the first half, but looking back to know at the end of the season we would be here with this many wins

I could not be prouder of this team, i still couldnt imagine that we'd be here, i remember that 26 road game losing streak

just waiting for the playoffs at this point, I have low expectations. This team isn't anywhere near as good on defense as they were a year ago and Wittman's rotations are just plain terrible

Looks as if we're guaranteed to be that 5th seed again and match up likely with Chicago :rolleyes

EDIT: just saw we made a whopping ONE shot in the entire 3rd quarter :x :x :x :x, we are pathetic offensively

Our fans are so used to mediocrity and trash squads, that this season has everyone ok with giving randy wittman a pass and nobody calling out John Wall's sloppy play since the AS break.

Is it bad to have higher expectations? We need a better coach. The warriors are a great example as they only have one chip and were mired in mediocrity over the last decade or two. They drafted smart and upgraded their coach, all while adding key vets while not breaking the bank, and now its paying DIVIDENDS.

Am I the only one that looks at our offensive woes, and wants John Wall to just TAKE OVER some games? He absolutely has the ability to, but in his desire to be unselfish and distribute, he OFTEN turns the ball over and makes bad passes/decisions... I know he wont take over from "steph curry" type perspective (3's and jumpers) but he could easily take the ball to the rack much more and with some authority, drawing more fouls in the process. Am I the only one that wants to see more vocal leadership from him? I mean last night in that third Q, we looked SOOOO unbelievably bad, and it seemed like no one gave a ****e, not even Randy. To say i was embarrassed would be a SEVERE understatement, SMFH. Randy has to go IMMEDIATELY after our first round exit IMO.

0 weak side help...there was no screen set for Hill....he was showed the lane and Nene wasn't there for back side help. What a terrible defensive possession at the worst possible time

Bad loss :smh:

Bradley Beal has to be one of the most ******* frustrating situations in Wizards history.

seeing Klay Thompson make such a huge leap this year then just watching Beal struggle to even stay on the court is just sickening. Idk what more Brad can do, does he have to make a change to his diet, his shoes or something because he just has leg injury after leg injury

when Beal's due for an extension it's gonna be interesting to see how much we overpay :x

I don't know how anyone can defend the guy at this point.

Everything is the players' fault.  "We gotta make shots."  "Guys just need to step up."  "We lack discipline."  He's going out of his way to express contempt and disgust for his players, and literally walking out with a game still in progress should be the final straw in that regard.

I sincerely doubt John & co. will vouch for this guy again.  I just hope the Bulls are actually stupid enough to drop Thibs in favor of Fred Hoiberg, as has been rumored.

Randy shouldn't be alone in the unemployment line, either.  You have to give Ernie some credit for his role in all of this.  When other GMs were out making major improvements for their teams on the fly (OKC, Cleveland, etc.), Ernie's grand plan involved waiting all year long for Will Bynum.  How's that working out?

You know why I'm here

Lol just go back to page 10 of this thread people were in here saving and co-signing for Randy. I remember before last season I got blasted for suggesting that the Wizards make a move and get rid of him. People ripped me a new one for for saying the Wizards should get George Karl over the Randy. Whitman the coach who happens to have the worst winning percentage of any coach in NBA history. But anyway....

You are spot on that Ernie must go too. Folks were saying that one of the reasons Randy should stay is because he had the backing of the front office.... Well the front office is just as terrible as the coaching.

Didn't realize Wall had played 229 consecutive games till he sat out tonight

Wiz have a shot at the third seed if they finish strong

Yeah most likely

Two borderline playoff teams fighting for a spot and the Cavs and Hawks. Best case it gets a little easier if the Cavs and Hawks rest some players.

Makes you realize just how bad this team is w/o wall :smh:

Walking the fine line between being a playoff team and slightly better than the 76ers.

Without wall we are a 30 win team, which in the east makes us a horrible team, shows how good he is and bad we are

We need Durant, without him we are gonna stall at this level
