I repped everybody I could on the page. Couldn't of said it better myself.

Love the intensity and grit we're showing, I dont know who's mama Randy insulted, but the team has responded.

Hope to see us maintain this form at home, hopefully complacency doesn't set in. Can't say I'm more excited than last year's run, but I'm happy to see our improvement over the latter half of the season.

The ONLY bad thing going forward is that Ted Leonsis probably will not fire Randy Wittman, smh.

Speaking of Wittman...

This is what the Wizards take with them into the postseason, and part of what helped them become the only team to win on the road so far in these very young playoffs. Wittman has built a team that is the basketball equivalent of a weirdo who wears a fully inflated life jacket every day, day and night, who suddenly wakes up in a flooded town. The life jacket was an entirely useless obstruction to the normal processes of everyday life, and then the environment changed and look who's floating!

The Unpossible Brilliance of Wizards Coach Randy Wittman

I flipped sides i'm in the fire wittman boat, no matter how this postseason goes, certain things he does are maddening and the mid range jumpshot offense is really getting on my nerves

I know its been around all season just game 1 had me really mad, hopefully we finish this series in 5 get rest for our bigs

at them cheering for variant Rodman like he's gonna save the day

With my team on its way out I want to apply for a place on the Wizard's bandwagon.

Only reference I have is they have been my 2K team for the last few years.

I've never been this happy to EAT MY WORDS. I thought the dinos would wash us. Boy was I wrong AF. And I'm glad I was!!! Defense, Da troof, Otto, Johnny dubs, so many positive story lines... Let's get these brooms ready for Sunday. If all goes well, I should be at the game... #WIZARDS

Looking back in this thread, I'm shocked at how many Wizards fans thought the Raptors would win this series.

I like this team. I hope it's them vs. the Bulls ECF

No complaints today?
We all know this is a double edged sword, and that anything resulting in the return of Randy Wittman places a ceiling over this team's potential.

That said, it's hard not to enjoy the ride.

Keep in mind, this is a franchise that had never, repeat:  NEVER, taken a 3-0 lead in any series until tonight.  That's a feat that's already been equaled by four other teams in these playoffs alone.  "Best team in my lifetime" for this franchise is "pretty good year" by normal standards.

The low standards frustrate me about this franchise more than anything else.   When you only get one good team every 15 years, you can't afford to blow the opportunity.

So yes, I am critical of a team that will settle for "good" when there's a chance to be great.  I refuse to accept mediocrity.

This is what we're still struggling to get away from:

That doesn't mean that I'm incapable of enjoying wins.  It means that I've been a fan long enough to recognize how rare they are here, and what it will take to change that.
