I think the last two years, the teams haven't announced.. Andrew luck was the last real 'announcement'

Maybe I am wrong, but clearly remember announcements being made since Cam.
About how far back I can remember.
Kinda' reminds me of when The Chiefs were debating which O Lineman to take.

cam was the 1st pick in 2011.. luck in 2012

the last two years were:

eric fisher (who wasn't announced)

and clowney (they tried to make it seem like they were considering other people just up to the draft)

Look how close to the draft we all are, and they STILL f-cked up.

If you're the Bucs, knowing Winstons off the field problems that are seemingly behind him, you wouldn't wait all the way up until draft day to see if he loses his mind? Could he get a DUI, pulled over and some weed is on him. Yes... Yes he could, because people are stupid. I see nothing wrong with this tactic, wait and see... No team pressures them, Winston isn't going anywhere. No worries.[/COLOR]

You're right, holding out until they're on the clock is the best bet. Can't have all eggs in one basket.

After all that I read over Fisher's upside I knew then Reid would take him #1.
In all honesty Clowney's monster hit on that RB? In college made everyone go crazy & put the #1 pick label on him. We knew that FEB. that he was going #1.
That's why he didn't work out with any other teams after the Texans.

But you're right, no formal announcement made on either. It's all assumption at this point.
