class-action lawsuit against Red Bull is being settled, and if you've purchased any Red Bull products in the last 12 years, you can get a piece of the pie. No proof of purchase required.

Anyone who purchased a Red Bull product between January 1, 2002 and October 3, 2014 is eligible to receive either $15 worth of Red Bull products or a $10 check. The class-action suit claims that Red Bull used false advertising, and "misrepresents both the functionality and safety of Red Bull beverages." There is no proof of purchase required, so all you have to do is head to the link below and fill out a claim form, or print out a personalized claim form to mail in. A lot of people are filing their claims right now—so the site might be a little slow or unresponsive at the moment—but you have until March 2, 2015 to submit your claim, so don't worry.

complainant Benjamin Careathers alleged Red Bull was “misleading customers” by making claims about the “functional beverage” and its ability to “give you wings” despite reports concluding energy drinks had the same benefit as he the average dose of caffeine consumed in coffee. Red Bull did not respond to requests for comment by NBC News on Thursday but in previous statements said it had settled the lawsuit to “avoid the cost and distraction of litigation” and maintains that its marketing has “always been truthful and accurate.”

You're not getting this money until at least a year from now. I'm sure I'll make more than 10 dollars in other ways, I'm out.

I filled out a few class action suits before and that site does not look legit at all.
