2018/19 Philadelphia 76ers Thread: The Process Continues

Yeah not much to look forward to for a while

Seeing Noel and MCW develop this year will be semi interesting though. But outside of that..we're pretty much a lock for the lottery

Does anyone actually care?

it's rough being a Sixers fan but I am excited for 2017

 2017

Is there any pics of how fat J-Rich is now, or did he drop that weight?

I hope Noel has a great year, we land a top three pick then trade Noel for a starting wing player and pick Towns to play alongside Embiid. Perfect fit next to eachother.

Maybe we see Embiid towards the 2nd half of the year

Nah I wouldn't even play him this season tbh

And idk how I'd feel about trading Noel. I'd at least wait to see how he plays with Embiid in 2015-2016

I agree I wanna see Noel and Joel play together

I think if anyone gets traded it's MCW

If the Sixers secure a top-3 selection, Hinkie will take the BPA regardless of need. Meaning Okafor, Towns, or Mudiay. Even though the former two are bigs. He's out of the Morey mold with stockpiling assets.

Hard to care about this team when the product stinks on the floor I'm interested how the combo of Noel and embiid grow, you guys got a young squad with a good cruling, I'm bummed they got rid of Thad young dude balled for us

Posted this in the fantasy basketball thread, but also posting here since you guys are probably more knowledgeable on the situation:

What are your guys' opinions on MCW's timetable and his overall outlook for this year? Recent reports say he could be out till February at the latest, which sounds extreme considering he's only being held out of non-contact drills.

I did some more digging and found an article saying that was nonsense and that they predicted him to be back sometime in November or December. This would make him worth holding onto since my team should be solid enough to make the playoffs despite him being out a month or two and would mean I should cancel the trades I sent ASAP.

I think MCW doesn't play another game in a Sixers uniform; I think they are going to trade him before he makes his return

Yeah I remember they were trying to shop him in the offseason. For my sake, I hope he stays in Philly where he'll be a go-to player.

Thanks for the insight.

Nerlens Noel, Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor.... Sam Hinkie sticking to his plan taking Best Player Available

I cared a hell of a lot more yesterday than I do today. I'm still gonna support them. If Jah becomes Tim Duncan on offense, I'm cool with the pick. I just want the Sixers to get a playmaker within the next 12 months. I don't care where he comes from, but he better be in one of those new uniforms soon.

Sixers will forever suck

Hinkie is just collecting a big paycheck, I am now convinced
Hinkie is driving me nuts. We can not go into the season with Caanan as our starter. I think he really sucks. I'm convinced Embiid is actually really hurt, like miss most of this next season hurt. This big man logjam is killing me. Noel, Saric, Embiid (if he plays) and now Jah. If only Jah and Noel were one person...

My dude took 3 centers, two of them are international players that won't be over in years or ever see. Wtf is hinkie doing?

Hinkie has to be trolling, 5 ******* big men?! Brett Brown probably somewhere wondering what he can do with his backcourt.

Hinkie needs to be banned from the NBA. This may have been our worst draft ever. Once the Lakers took Russell I knew it was gon be downhill but not like THIS :smh:

Yup. I'm done with the Hinkie trust. He's still firmly in tank mode instead of slowly rebuilding mode. Platform is great but I still would've traded back with the Knicks and taken Mudiay.

And that second round was laughable. I'm tired of these GMs who think they are some kind of mastermind that are smarter than everybody else. Chips turn is coming up next

Didnt know we had a thread lol

Anyways

Out of 6 picks Sam takes 5 big men + Embiid,Dario, and Vasilije Micić from last years draft so 8 big men in 2 years smh

At least we got the Lakers+Thunder+Heat 1st round picks and our own next year.
