NFL Week 6 In Review...

This cannot be my head coach anymore. Can not.

-Rodgers with a nice comeback

-Dallas' O-line is no joke

-The Atlanta Falcons are trash

-Cleveland silently doing good

-Arizona too

-Jason Verret with the clutch play :wow:

-Aaron rodgers :pimp:

-That was Flacco who played yesterday?

Texans:
-can't get behind that much, that early, and expect to win the game
-offensive 3 and outs gave the defense no time to rest or adjust.
-ryan fitzpatrick is who he is. in the midst of a rebuild, ryan mallett should be getting a look just because he's a FA after this season.
-JJ Watt continuing to earn all that money.
-clowney coming back :pimp:

Other games I saw:
Seahawks/Cowboys
-We were all quick to get on Dez for throwing fits on the sideline in the past, it's time to recognize that he's grown up a lot. yesterday before the half both teams were out there pushing and shoving, Dez was out there being the voice of reason. only 4 catches on 10 targets, but never really saw "the old dez" get pissy about it. salute :pimp:
-The cowboys defense was impressive. it seems like such a simple concept, but they were able to contain wilson by maintaining discipline on the edge. they were also getting pressure with 3 and 4 down lineman. that's scary.
-it's good to see the cowboys doing what they should've been doing for years. pounding the rock, and keeping teams off balance.

Dolphins/Packers
-Rodgers is something else. their o line absolutely stinks, and somehow he's still able to make plays behind them.
-on that last play, why are the DBs already lined up in the endzone? always hated when DBs line up so far off, and give up an easy catch because of it
-Free Ryan Tannehill
-Eddie Lacy the new Trent Richardson, or is it the horrible O-line? Stay tuned.
-Dom Capers sees read option in his nightmares.

Eagles
- perfect way to go into the bye week, absolutely dominating a hot team in all phases.
- our defensive line has something like 16 sacks in the last 3 games, that's the key to protecting the suspect secondary
- Connor Barwin embarrassed that Pugh guy on the Giants line
- glad to see the real Lesean McCoy again, Giants killer
- Nick Foles is so mediocre at times. Tries too hard to make plays that aren't there, just throw the ball away when there's no one open

Everyone Else
- Cowboys really dominated the Seahawks, only thing that kept Seattle in it was the stupid self inflicted mistakes on offense and special teams.
- I applaud Doug Baldwin for what he said, he knows their receiving core is below average and the team as a whole were feeling themselves a bit too much. Gotta get back to basics
- the Falcons are finished, they have no clue on defense and won't put the ball in the hands of their game breaker running back. Lol at that IG video of Bears fans dancing in the concourse
- Alshon Jeffrey might be top 5
- Browns are legit
- Flacco looked like he was playing a JV team
- Pacman Jones with a FANTASTIC post game interview lol
- Lions offense looks very poor but they're still scraping out wins
- I feel privileged to watch Aaron Rodgers play quarterback every week. The strikes he throws on the run are a thing of beauty
- Derek Carr really blew it yesterday, horrible decision

Bucs

- We STINK!!!!!

-  Bucs defense have given up 34 points per game and this is what Lovie says about the defensive scheme,  “Absolutely not. I’ll stop you right there. Absolutely not. We’re not changing our scheme. I’ve been doing this scheme every year I’ve been in the league. I believe in it. We’re not coaching it and we’re not playing it as well as we need to. Zero chance we change our scheme.”

- At this point I wouldn't mind Rex Ryan next year as long as he came attached with a good OC, Lovie gotta be fired halfway this year.

NFL

- Cortland Finnegan had the most bone head play yesterday by not forcing Adams inside to tackle him and end the game

- Who would've thought the NFC east would have two 5 win teams by now
eek.gif

- Cardinals were in the same spot last year and I still don't think they win that division or make the playoffs

- Kirk Cousins Sucks!

- What happened to the 12th man yesterday? Stadium sounded like what Jerrys world is supposed to be

- Panthers-Bengals
roll.gif

- Speedy recovery to Cruz

- Kyle Fuller is the goods

- Its a shame the Bears can't play like this every week, that offense is really scary

- That Romo pass to Williams was the play of the year

- Marshawn with only 11 touches

Eagles:

- and THAT'S why I'm not giving up on Shady yet

- Barwin has been one of Philly's best FA signings in a long time

- Jenkins still doing well

- another James Casey sighting  :pimp:

- Molk bounced back quite nicely, he played excellent..makes the wait for Kelce a lil easier

- J. Matthews still quietly having himself a solid season

- Brandon Graham finally living up to his potential :pimp:

others:

- I despise the Giants, but I hate to see that happen to Cruz. That was tough :smh:

- Dallas is the only NFC East team I'm worried about

- I see you Cleveland

- Carr

- Phillip Rivers might be my favorite non-Eagle right now

- Aaron Rodgers just does what he wants

- Flacco!

CP don't act like you didn't help load the Ark.

 @ these Brady "I told you so's"

Nobody with any sense thought that he was done.

TONS of people were ready to write the dude off, man. the demise stories were over exaggerated. not just on here, but media across the country and local fans/media as well. and now we got people backtracking like crazy on it.

agree with you...anyone with any sense and anyone actually watching pats games knew what the main issue was. again, decline in play? sure. he's 37. but still one of the top QBs in the league.

- For as great as everyone in the media wants him to be, Russel Wilson sure looks like Andy Dalton in wolves clothing sometimes.
- Joe Flacco...will never be a fan of him but he throws one of the best deep balls ever, period. He's been great this year so far.
- No groups of fans talk more when they're doing well and disappear into the shawdows like Giants fans. If it wasn't for those two superbowls, who knows if they would even exist?
- Is there a lamer head coach than Joe Philbin? Only the Dolphins would choose to bring back a coach that terrible after the Martin/Incognito situation last year.
- NFC South, the winner might only need 8 games.
- I honestly don't know if we'll ever see Johnny Manziel in a Browns jersey take the field as a starter. That division is a three team race.
- Cinci...Can't take you as a title contender seriously if you can't win that game.
- Geno with one of the all-time great Pick Six covers in gambling history.
- Remember how much better the NFC has been the past few years? Doesn't feel like the disparity is that great anymore.

"Insert any clown quote from certain New Jersey born/raised Texans fan."

Are you saying the franchise would fold if they didn't win the two recent SBs? Or are you referring to the fans existing?

- Just talking about the general bandwagon nature of there fans who much like Yankees fans, often know nothing about the sport, just that the team has won a few championships but don't actually follow the team week-to-week, just appear after a win. Living in the NY area, this is a phenomenon that many can attest to.

Also, Vontaze Burfict still seems to be a huge scumgbag though he left that behind at ASU but apparently not.

Ah gotcha

Burfict definitely toes the line between physical and dirty. Probably what makes him good

My MVP candidates through Week 6 are: Phil Rivers, DeMarco Murray, Peyton Manning, J.J. Watt, and Aaron Rodgers.

Hate to see a quality player or any athlete succumb to serious injury like Cruz did. Met him in Meatpacking District post-Super Bowl and even shared Cafe Patron. Even though he plays for a division rival, I want to play and beat the Giants, Cowboys, and Washington at full-strength.

On the subject of injury, sincerely hoping Murray stays healthy and plays all 16 games for Dallas. Having the season of his life and building MVP candidacy.

D-Jax may not be a PPR machine in fantasy terms, but his dude's YPC always astounds me. Speed kills.

Enjoyed the mutual respect between Sherm and Dezzy.

Finnegan has to force Adams inside. The veteran made a rookie blunder and the rookie made a savvy, game-saving play.

More thoughts, I don't get how a Lovie Smith defense is getting shredded this bad. Defense is his forte. Without it, he's nothing in the league.

The problem with Geno Smith is reoccurring mistakes. It doesn't seem or feel like he learns from past errors. Frustrating.

Titans are a lot worse than I thought. Predicted them to be the second AFC wildcard, couldn't be more erroneous.

Rod Marinelli and Teryl Austin doing a phenomenal job with their defenses. Arians for COY, and it's not close with all of Arizona's key losses and revolving QB door.

In this soft *** league I'll take a player like Vontaze at LB any day. He toes the line every week, which ends up having guys from the other team targeting him.

Thought that we could still win that game at home down AJ, Eifert, and Gresham, and it comes down to the ******* kicker missing a 38 yarder. Unreal.

Another week, another struggle for the front 4 to generate pressure. Geno Atkins looked better. Saw him winning some matchups on the interior, but Margus Hunt is no Michael Johnson.

Dalton balled. One bad throw for a pick and the other his arm was hit at the line. Possibly his most impressive performance considering the circumstances.

Gio :pimp: Not much that really needs to be said. Our Brian Westbrook
