American Gangster or Graduation

You guys are slurping AG a little too much just because it came out. It is not better than Graduation i'm sorry. The slurping is actually making me sick.
 
AG is also not his best work since Blueprint either because the Black Album is better than this album. How many of you that were saying Jay Z fell off are now riding him now. Blue Magic is hot garbage but the Roc Boys song is off the chain. Put Kanyes production on AG and you have a classic album trust me.
 
The fact that yall are really compraring these two albums.......AGAIN

Says how high you rate Kanye and/or how low Ol Man Jigga has fallen/how low yall rate him

If you cant see the clear and glaring gap in lyricism I dont kno what to tell you, except listen again.

Also dont think ppl just talkin bout lyricism is the only thing we can speak on, the production AG has a slight advantage to Graduation

lyrically ag is better...but at this point with AG being leaked...I gave Graduation wayyy more spins in the same amount of time

AG > Graduation.

I love both albums but there's no way that Kanye's album is better than Jay's.

I can see ppl picking Graduation because its easier to listen to and the lyrics are easier to digest. AG is kinda like a throwback album geared toward an older hiphop audience . It forces you to listen carefully. Where as Graduation, is something you can pop in your cd player and vibe with instantly.

American Gangster moves it's bowels all over Graduation.
And I love Graduation, it was my album of the year before AG released, but its like this...
Kingdom Come was lyrically on point, but musically not as hot...
Graduation was musically dope, but lyrically, its borderline trash...
American Gangster is musically dope and lyrically on point...that's pretty much it. The new Hitmen did work on this album :pimp:

Graduation was amazing for the first two weeks... now its boring.

I can see myself playing AG for awhile...

It got everything you need. You wit ya boys?.. throw on sumtin like "Pray" or "American Dreamin"..

Wit a female?.. "Party Life" or "I Know"..

Party?.. "Roc Boys"

I could keep goin....

Graduation is garbage lyrically come on people. Kanye sounds like he's rapping to the wrong beat behind him in half of these songs. He just sounds lost in the booth to me.

Ive seen ya past ludacris comments about Kanye n Graduation figuring you were being very sarcastic but I cant tell anymore

Graduation has great production but Drunk and Hot Girls and Barry Bonds are bad enuff to make AG edge it out production wise not to mention I dont think Flashing Lights is that good anyway.

Lyrically there is no contest this watered down Ol Man Jigga is superior to Kanye in every way

Graduation was overhyped, it didn't live up to 1/3 of it. I stop listening to it toward the end of the first week
