If so how difficult is it and what should I expect. Also tips to prepare for it.

I hear it really isn't that hard... Only heard one out of about 20 people say they didn't pass the first time.

I took the 79 recently. It was difficult but if you have the right study materials then it's not terrible. Heard 7 may be a tad bit harder than the 79 so I guess just study?

I took it and passed it on the first try. The options trading portion makes up a huge portion of the test, study that more than anything. I spent the last few days before my exam going over that part over and over and over.

I would learn this like the back of my hand and draw it on the scrap paper the second you walk in. It basically answers all the questions

I gave my books and my notes away I wish I could look and give you more

What study Materials are you using, I got to look at STC and Kaplan, and Kaplan>>>>>>>. If you have the Kaplan book its chapters 3, 4, 5, and another one that are basically the whole test.

Just be ready to put a ton of hours into it, theres just a ton to cover. I also wouldnt sweat it if you dont pass on the first try, a bunch of people I know didnt. Its not like its an easy test

I also have my 24, and take the 66 in two weeks. All I've been doing is reading this book. I wanna take the 79 but I dont think my firm is gonna sponsor me if I ask

I was thinking about taking it after I graduated but ended up not going into the financial service industry

The test seemed just like any other test, but that options portion is crucial. I use to be able to understand the concepts and do different transactions but gave up after I didn't get a job in the industry
