BeatKing - Gangsta Stripper Music 3 [Mixtape]

Had no idea they made a tape together when I made that thread for Like A Pimp 2K15, but I'm listening to this right now, and have to say it's pretty nice. I've been a fan of GL Productions, Mr. Lee and Stunt N Dozier's beats for a minute, along with BeatKing's own stuff. Has some nice features on here too with Riff Raff, 8Ball, and Danny Brown.

Man....I've heard of beatKing for maybe 5 years now, but I wrote him off as some fad type dude until I heard that "Smile" song that Mr. Lee produced. This is def a really good tape, and I love the mix of Houston/Memphis nods and samples throughout. The only song I'm not really feeling is "Mashing"

So she's back to being  "Gangsta Boo"? I know I'm not the only one here old enough to remember when she said she was no longer a "gangster" and started going to church....

BeatKing's upcoming album, "3 Weeks," is out later this month.

BeatKing has built a loyal fanbase the old-fashioned way over the last few years, independently releasing mixtapes and albums, and contributing to a regional scene. Now, the Houston phenomenon is ready to take things up a notch, inking a deal with Penalty Entertainment and preparing his debut project for the label.

3 Weeks (a reference to how long it took BeatKing to record the project) is shaping up to be something special for old and new fans alike. The 14-track LP is set to feature contributions from Short Dawg, DJ Chose, and Bun B, made up of all new material (save for the "Keisha" remix, which has been getting some generous radio play as of late).

1. Used 2

2. Imagination (feat. Short Dawg)

3. Show It (feat. Bun B)

4. Heavy On A Check (feat. GUN, Rizzoo Rizzoo)

5. Keep On Doing It

6. Toy (feat. GT Garza)

7. Billie Jean

8. Smuggled (feat. 5th Ward JP)

9. 4AM

10. Fall (feat. DJ Chose)

11. Keisha (feat. Rico Love, Kirko Bangz, Ken Randle)

12. Going Down

13. Save Us

14. 3 Weeks Outro

Listened to this yesterday. Really good album and on par with Club God 4, Houston 3AM, and Underground Cassette Tape Music, which I think are his best mixtape/albums out of all the series' he's been doing. Real nice samples throughout too, dude's production is crazy. Not sure how I didn't listen to his music sooner than I started too. Some short yet pretty hilarious skits on here as well. Real Life, So High, It Doesn't Matter, How 2 Stop, 21, and Red Lean Freestyle are my standouts, with tracks like Twice, 18, and Bowser being other notable ones.
