APPLE EXPECTED TO ANNOUNCE NEW IPAD AND MAYBE NEW IMAC TODAY AT 10am PST

you would need an adapter i'm guessing. Does mac mini have an hdmi out port? If not need an adapter for I'm guessing thunderbolt to hdmi.
 
On 4k & 5k displays, would essentially all videos look bad on there and would it come out as really small? I love hi res TVs but man, they are pointless if there is no video that can handle it. To my knowledge, only some Netflix shows and a select amount of movies are 4K res or a little under.
 
isnt the whole 5K thing null if the site isn't displaying 5k quality content? Like I have a Retina MBP and its clear is heck but doesnt I site have to be Retina Capable to take advantage of it? My girl bought me a 27inch 1080p ips monitor and I`m more than happy with that.

Better believe if they put retina ANYTHING on the Air, I'll cop.

Until then Apple isnt getting any more of my money.

Might cop an Apple TV and a Mac Mini for the crib down the line, but I'm not updating any more of my hardware until they give me what I want on those laptops.

My 2012 MBP is maxed out and running strong. I just want an Air for portability.
 
I'm gonna hold off on buying another machine since my 2011 retina holds me down, but I think I might get the iPad Air 2. Gave my mom my mini and I've honestly missed the luxury of using an iPad. Plus my MacBook could use the time off since it gets a heavy dose of work from 8:30-4pm every day.

the integrated graphic processor is not powerful enough to drive 4k resolution effectively
the UI is going to be slow and laggy
i would honestly wait maybe 2 years to play with 4K stuff when it becomes the new standard
 
I just saw the retina imac on the website and thought it was a late april fools or something. Never thought it'd make it on to iMacs this soon. I'm still using my 2010-2011 imac and it's still going strong. Retina would be nice but not a necessity so I'm going to wait until the prices drops about 50%.

I just got my iphone 6+ today so the ipad is useless to me. They do look nice though but Apple just keeps recycling their old products instead of coming out with something new and fresh. :smh:

now we know the next iphone, possibly the 6S will get it

Anyone picking one up? I'm probably gonna wait til bestbuy has them since I got a $50 certificate and I wanted to use the 3X points coupon on this.
