Macbook Won't Turn On [HELP :,-(]

Dummy me got home a little last night and wanted to check some stuff before I went to sleep so I brought it to my bed. Dummy me also wanted some water so I had a bottle of water. Had a drink, closed the water (or so I thought), next thing I know water is all over the bed. Next thing I know I feel a little water on my shorts so I jump up see the water leaking and pick up the computer right away. I tihnk a little might have went inside SD card slot and now the computer won't turn on this morning.
I tihnk I know what happened, but I'm in denial right now. Anybody ever have this happen before and is there anything I can do?

When and how did you turn off the computer?

Have you tried turning on the computer while its charging?


When you wet an electronic and you power it on, it shocks it. Sounds like thats what happened.


I suggest you get on your Mac and make an appointment for the Genius Bar.

It was my fault. I got AppleCare on my other MacBooks, short term memory got messed up after an injury in 2010, so I completely forgot to go back. Without bad luck I'd have no luck at all.

I decided after apple told me it would cost around $800 to fix that I would see if somebody could get my flash drive content off for me. Guy said he could fix it and after opening it and taking it apart, he cleaned some parts and it worked.
