Can BJ The Chicago Kid bring back R&B soul??

Its that curse of the songwriter **** to me too.. They have such a broad view of music its hard for them to stick to a specific sound for a project

Just now finding out that Church song belongs to him. Here that joint on the radio all the time. Even got my mom/grandma reciting the lyrics to it and I know they don't care for music of today. Will give this project a listen later today while I'm out & about.

Way more diverse album in terms of sound than I thought it would be based on early reviews. Didn't think I would cop it but should have lots of replay value.

Been checking for him for the longest, glad he finally dropped that album and I was not at all disappointed. Mad refreshing hearing true R&B/Soul in the midst of this flood of melodic sing-song rap from newer cats. It's been a long time coming for dude.

In My Mind starts and ends on a avg note, but the middle portion from love inside to woman's world is pure FLAMES and makes this on of my favourite rnb albums of the last few years.

sadly this gem will get overlooked, too soulful of a sound for how rnb is headed nowadays.

Shocked nobody is talking about this project. This is the type of r&b I want to hear.
