Don't get me wrong, I disagree with his connotation some times, but he spits truth if you actually watch his show, not snippets.

Here's the thing though: do lower class white people have their own set of obstacles to overcome? Of course.  Do black people of similar status have those same exact obstacles AND a ton of others that the whites of similar status don't have to deal with as much (if at all)?  Absolutely.  

It would be disingenuous to say that poor whites have it just as hard as poor blacks.

Exactly. I think if you read this and still disagree - you're very naive about how the world works.

People see the term "privilege" and automatically assume it means people think everything is 1000% perfect. No. A privilege is a privilege. Being white in America gives you advantages that a minority could never ever have. It doesn't mean every white person is rich.
