Watch: Student Charged With Assault and Teacher on Leave After Fight Caught on Tape

Worked on residential treatment for kids for nearly 3 years. I've seen it all done it all.

I have absolutely no doubt the kid deserved it.

I work in a youth apprenticeship program now. Legit almost had to put hands on a "kid" 2 weeks ago. Dude was 18 and disrespectful as ****. To this day every time I see him I think about him finishing up in may I see myself throwing a headshot right after. Lil bastard.

Smh sad part if girl probably laughed and bragged to her friends how she gave the teacher that work

Fast forward no diploma and her life down the drain smh

Hated seeing these types at school growing up. Like dam if you don't want to be there just drop out easy as pie.

Meh, those kids treat the teachers like they aren't human. I'm not condoning or saying it's ok but nobody should treat someone like they wont/can't do anything back

Bruh, not true at all. I taught in high school that was 95% black. I had some knuckleheads but none of them ever showed severe disrespect. I never almost had to put hands on a kid and never had a kid almost put hands on me.

The key is to not give them that opportunity to wild out. Don't disrespect them and you're good for the most part. No need to be screaming and shouting with kids. They're kids and they do kid things.

I like how they admitted the girl was a "problem child" like that just is what it is  :smh:

For many guardians in that situation, it is. Those people were not her parents. While I don't know the girl's story or the circumstances revolving around her or her parents lives, this was West Baltimore and we've all seen The Wire.

By the time it gets bad enough that the child needs to be removed from the home, the damage has already been done. While I was working in schools, I saw kids as early as 4th grade learn to internalize the things they grow up around not just as reality, but as their world. Some of them are proud to aspire to being a drug dealer, a savage, etc. because that's literally all they saw outside of school.

Once a kid internalizes those things and accept that path as reality, there is very little that can be done. They need constant reassurance, counseling, and guardians that will enable them to realize their potential, and even then it is a struggle. Its obvious that this girl isn't getting anywhere near that from the aunt and grandma.

Baltimore city public schools :pimp: ...semi related, one of the wettest yambs i had back in my high school days went to carver westside, then she got knocked up in like 11th grade :smh:

And the teacher wit the Martin Baker pose at 1:43

My basketball couch tried to break up a fight during a game and got socked in the face by his own player. Hahaha

Teacher had a chance to walk away? Dumb *** student had a chance to follow school policies and not be a stupid *****.

Teacher should know better but I honestly can't even blame her for reacting like that. You can only tolerate so much before enough is enough.
