Need better angles but looks promising. I like that it's a low. I don't have any Adi low top bball shoes right now. Cool DL logo.

Lateral side of the shoe looks very similiar to a popular Jordan model.  From Heel to toebox

Yea, in the detailed picture they look very much  like trainers.

No Boost most likely Adiprene+ like Wall's sig. Makes sense for first sig. shoe to not have the latest tech. to keep the price low. Ankle collar doesn't look to have any padding.

Logo kinda reminds me of the CJ81 logo lol
post #9 of 2147

I like this guy's game, and I like these shoes, plus the laces are hot.

adidas doing it big this year i cant wait for 2015 with wiggins and yeezy plus the designers they got from swoosh tide may turn finally give nike some real competition next year they are a couple dope designs away imo8o

I like them. Been rockin' alot of low tops lately. They do resemble the Trunner a bit.

Def got that trainers vibe.

these are looking fire. This is a day 1 cop for me.

FINALLY.

They remind me of the D Rose Englewood 1.  Not a good look for a first sig. shoe to look so much like other shoes.

Looks like full length inner bootie and Techfit.  Gotta hear some performance reviews, but I like them.

these are a must.
we need more pics

That is your opinion, but if that is the case, then Li Ning copied the Adidas Gil Zero line.

Been seen these from the yeezi thread lol

YES!!!! All aboard the Lillard train. I'll will be grabbing these when they drop. Really liking what I see so far and these will most likely replace kobes as my low-top hooping shoes.

They are ok. They'll sit on shelves. I wouldn't buy. 4/10.

You don't think Lillard is on his way to becoming a superstar? I would definitely put him in the top 5 pg convo right now.

Lillard debates were bound to happen in this thread.

For me, I'm a huge fan and admire his style.  I went bananas when he buried the Rockets last year, I was seriously screaming in my apartment.  He was a gem in his draft class and essentially picked up where Brandon Roy left off.

I got him in the top 10 PG's for sure and if we're talking about young PG's, definitely top 5.  But he got smoked by Tony Parker last year, as did the Blazers in general.

I still have Curry, Rose (if healthy), Westbrook, Chris Paul, Kyrie Irving and Tony Parker ahead of him.  All these guys have sigs or sigs coming except for Westbrook.  I'm glad Lillard got his own, Adidas needs to diversify their sigs and Rose is too frequently injured.

If these had full length boost, or at least just in the forefoot ... as a low, I'd get these in a heartbeat.  I'm a low - mid kind of guy for playing.  I feel most comfortable in them.  They look nice though, don't get any of the criticism aesthetically.

“You see some people have come out with shoes and they didn’t want their shoes to be expensive … That was big for me,” said Lillard. “I really like the Boost in the shoes I wear now, but the shoe would have been, I think, a lot more expensive. I think like $50 or $60 more expensive and I didn’t want it to be that way. I wanted it to be at a reasonable price, especially for my first shoe. The crowd that I really want to be able to wear my shoe, I want them to be able to afford it.”

Okay, I'll concede those PGs being ahead of him, for now.

But could you imagine if Brandon Roy was still playing on this team??

Of course, they may or may not have gotten Lillard at that point, but BRoy, LA, and Lillard. That's a good core.

Back to the shoes though, I do like Adidias adding more sigs to their lineup with the Wall and Lillard lines. Dwight just doesn't sell shoes and Rose line is good but he hasn't played a meaningful game in two years which hurts. Especially with what I hear about Kyrie and Steph getting their own lines next year.

I've got a great feeling about this model... lookin like full length adiprene+ ?  Should be solid.  They look like the fit will be right too

As a low-top junkie... I can't wait

Would like to see a shot of the outsole

Asking because I'm ignorant, but how can you tell whether a shoe is adiprene vs adiprene+? My understanding is that they are a bit different but are most shoes either one or the other or a combination of the two?
