Okay guys. Just wanted to update you. RIF wanted to do a laker game summit, so here we are. I should have probably tried to swing for a November date but it's too late for that now. 200 level seats run $105 each and 300 level nose bleeds $39-$50 depending on the game.

I just wanted to get a consensus and make you guys aware, but what's more important to you guys?

A. where we sit (I want good seats at whatever cost)
b. Price of ticket (get me cheap seats)
C. Who the lakers will play (I'm not trying to see the Wizards!)

Please let me know as this date/game is not concrete. Supply for tickects will dry up by December especially if we want to sit together which is why I basically can't get a group of tickets for a in November-January, I will have a strict payment policy this time. We really need a two month buffer to purchase tickets, because as you know, the lakers have the biggest fan base in the world.

How does this work for everyone ?

Just for everyone's knowledge I've attached a look at the lakers schedule & pricing.
I really wanted to try for the Chicago game but apparently those seats are all sold

im up for any game...as sad as it is, we are the wizards ( of past)

wizards have a strong young team

here are a few in january to vote on: vs memphis, portland, chicago, cleveland, washington

id rank them : cleveland, chicago, portland, washington, memphis

The Wizards are really good, clown.

I'll see how many free tix I can grab for the game. Probably 6 for a 200 level game against a decent team.

Most January games (including chicago) are sold out in the 200 level. And the Cleveland game would be $200+ in mid level which is rape...

I have no interest in seeing Brooklyn.

Not interested. No offense to RIF but it seems it's only what's convenient for them lately...

I chose Brooklyn as a starting point because that's a realistic date for us to get our money together.

RIF doesn't set the dates or plan the summits, I do.

What I said went over ur head. Do the Sunday Mavs game.

Then explain.. I don't want you or anyone else thinking I cater to RIF, they brought the laker game idea to the forefront but a laker game summit has always been an idea that everyone here has wanted. Now that I have RIF's backing it's a lot easier to get a large group. Because people love free stuff. Theres also another brand im hoping to bring with us but I don't want to make any premature announcements.

I'll ask the laker rep about those dates (OKC 3/1 and DAL 3/8 ).... But again trying to get those 200 level seats is hard.

Ur just all over RIF.

If anyone goes to a summit for free stuff...

If being all over them means supporting them because they support us, then yeah. You forgetting they Never had to give us anything ? Your boy that got a beanie from the bowling summit wasn't complaining , was he ? If you don't like rif being involved you don't have to come.

Hey but please go ahead and try to organize your own summit . I'll come.

i just want free stuff from rif. Can they bring something good this time though? I don't want no weak *** beanie.

I miss the days when rif wasn't charging flight club prices or had hypebeasts working...

Lol when did this become a Rif thing?
Anyways I'm down. Maybe to watch it against the clippers. Maybe we can get tickets when Clippers are home. Aren't they cheaper

i think the intent is good, but getting a bunch of heads to commit to dropping $105 on a laker game just over 3 months from now (especially in a season where the lakers are going to suck) is going to be a tougher sell then a dodger game where heads are dropping $40 at most with free food included.

you've been setting the summits up so hats off to that, and taking the time to pick me up from my crib when you have them which i for sure appreciate as well, but i would suggest trying this for a clipper game.   the team is obviously better right now. (i'm saying this as a laker fan) and the prices are better.

i was messing around on stubhub checking games.  lower level 100 tickets for a random clippers suns game in december can be had for between $55-65    everythings not going to be together but it would be within reasonable distance of eachother.   depending on how many heads go, it realistic to get everyone close enough to eachother.

i checked another game,  jan 26th against the nuggets.   i put the quantity at 10 or more.   i found up to 19 tickets for $26.61 each and up to 25 tickets for $28.93    both those are in the upper section but are in bulk and very reasonable priced.

this thread was in the so cal section  http://niketalk.com/t/607493/los-angeles-clippers-discounted-tickets     perhaps he can swing something on discounted group tickets.

it's just a suggestion on my part but i think a clipper game would be a better sell if your trying to get a heavy turnout.

Clippers vs lakers seems pretty legit so far. Isn't there another thread for a discount on clippers game
