a question of ethics in the work place

so lets say I have plans to move from my current spot to another spot starting next year, which gives me about a month and a half. During this month and half, I would like to make some money but I know that no one will hire me if I tell them I am planning on leaving town in less than two months. So my question to you guys is, would you lie and tell your possible future employer you have no plans to leave or would you tell them the truth? i really dont want to resort to selling drugs or anything like that, so yeah what do yall think?

Sure, get the job, stack the guap, then tell them it is not working out or that you found something else. They'll understand.
 
**** seasonal would be perfect for you. That's about the period of time they'd need you anyway.
 
Get the job and sell drugs as well like a real G would. Push it to the limit and turn your swag up to the max papa.
 
Hell naww... did that to my last job before getting into the department. I needed job security!
 
Lol I'm going through the same thing right now. I'm gonna be asked to switch departments soon to help out a department that my old manager now runs. She wants at least a year out of anyone that goes and idk if I should tell her that I'm trying to move on from the company or just take the job and leave when I can.
 
First thing is to not worry about quitting a job you don't even have yet.
Focus on getting one then if/when it comes time to move on, just say you have to leave for personal reasons related to unforeseen circumstances. Try to leave on the most positive, professional note because you never know what the future holds.

I'd forget about listing them as a reference though. And never feel sorry for the company. They were fine before you and will be fine when you are gone.
 
A real street cat would just put them claws on his boss if he even asked him a question like that.
 
Say your prospective employer can choose between you and another guy that has similar qualifications. One guy says he sees himself with the same company in five years. The other is just looking for a check for a month or two. Who do you choose?
