Wrestling Thread Oct 20 - Nov 2 | 10/27 Raw - Rollins Defeats Ambrose in HiaC w/ Help of Bray Wyatt

Yeah I really want Enzo and Cass called up for the comedy. I'm a sucker for the fast paced indie style as well.

Kidd and Gabriel would be dope.
Kofi, Woods and E needs to actually happen. Stupid to not strengthen the division with those 3.

What about Miz and Mizdow as an actual tag instead of Miz being a singles competitor?
Henry and Big Show, just do it already instead of this dumb Rusev feud.

They have so many directionless guys they could throw in a team and create a solid division.

Heaven forbid they give these guys names they could be successful with ala Michael McGillicutty. Blows my mind how a company could continually set up its employees for failure and then get angry at them for failing.

I know..It's like "We're going to have to wish you the best in your future endeavors because we gave you a stupid name, an awful script to read, and cut your move set by 83% and for some reason you're just not connecting with the fans"..

I swear to gawd, I hate Vince McMahon more than I hate my ex-wife and her mom..

The name thing gets me. Was never thrilled with them changing American Dragon's name, TJ Wilson to TJ Kidd, Tyler Black, Jon Moxley, Sami Callahan, etc.
Only thing I can see with Davey Richard's name change, he does have some resemblance to Tom Billington, aka Dynamite Kid.

Would be cool to see vignettes with the wrestler's names as they were in the independents, etc like KENTA, Fergal and Steen.

I used to hate how they transitioned some wrestler's with their nicknames, but it worked for some, not for others, ala Curt Hennig into Mr. Pefect, the Texas Tornado from Kerry Von Erich.

From on my way to work this morning:

"This is JOHN CENA on the Mad Hatter morning show on 97.9, YOU CANT SEE ME!!!"

Cena's right, since I immediately went to sports radio 610, Boom92, and my iPod.

-Judd Apatow’s upcoming comedy “Trainwreck”, starring WWE Superstar John Cena, had its first industry screening last night, and the 15-time world champion is actually getting rave reviews. Insider’s source stated that Cena was funny, charismatic, and “borderline X-rated”.

“In Trainwreck, Cena plays Steven, described as a dim-witted health and Cross-fit obsessed gym rat. Over the course of the film, the script and Cena’s performance plays up the fact that he actually be a closeted homoesexual, which got a great reaction out of the audience last night and with one scene in particular, ended up with Cena getting the loudest laughs of the screening.”

These screenings are put out in advance of the actual theatrical release, so the creators can gauge responses and make final changes prior to the public launch. That said, it’s possible Cena’s role – which includes a sex scene, full nudity from behind, and an “earth shattering orgasm” – could be stripped down, but at this time his character plays a large part in the film, and his performance is being compared to Dave Bautista’s stand-out role in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

Those with knowledge of the film industry expect that Cena will get a lot more mainstream attention from film companies once “Trainwreck” is released next July.

*Preys that cena will be off wwe and into Hollywood.

-Dean Ambrose spoke to Xfinity.Comcast.com this week to hype his match against Seth Rollins at Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Here are some highlights of what he said about:

How He Plans To Stand Out This Sunday:

“Going into anything like this, you want to put your own stamp on it. You want to do something that’s never been done before. I hate a formula. I hate stepping in the footsteps of those that came before me. And Seth has the same mindset. Even though we’re enemies and opponents, and are going to be trying to rip each other’s heads off in the Cell.”

Wanting To Outshine John Cena and Randy Orton:

“(Laughs) If you know anything about me, you know that I don’t have any trepidation. I’m not going to walk into there shaking in my boots. It’ll be my first time and Seth Rollins’ first time. I’m not afraid to take a risk. And Seth Rollins isn’t afraid to take a risk. I don’t see anything that Seth Rollins can do to me, or the Authority, or the Cell is anything worse than anything I’ve been through. I’m looking to raise the bar a little bit. And it’s hard because the Cell is a lot higher than it used to be.”

Comparing His Rise To Steve Ausin’s:

“There’s no confusing me and Steve Austin. (Laughs) There will never be another Steve Austin. As far as taking an opportunity like that….the thing I like about Steve Austin is his tenacity, his work ethic, and his…”Screw you, you’re not taking food off of my plate” thing. I’ve starved and lived on the road. And I’m not letting anyone walk all over me. That intensity…a lot of people they get so caught up in the grind here, so it’s hard to bring that 100% intensity every night. Steve Austin, you watch his old stuff, he never took a breath. Working Steve Austin must’ve been exhausting.”
