MY NEXT RIDE....THE PORSCHE 911 TURBO S

I don't believe you. One day you reach a point in life.........you worked so hard for.....you remember back when you appreciated your Toyota back n the day. The time has finally reached though. That time..........it's called Flourishing. My first car was a 94 Camry......one day I will have a turbo....hell maybe twin turbo........sitting low in bucket seats.

I believe you bro, besides all the silly beef you and I sometime have, I have thought of you as the type that's going to get it in life.

I hate that we ran off Ben Baller, dude used to floss and stunt but if you ask me he was doing NT a service by basically showing us what we could do if we worked smart and hard.

About the Hellcat, initially I was hating on it, but I can't eem lie it's a freaking beast, It makes me proud that America can produce a performance vehicle like it. I guess for me my history of wanting a 911 Turbo goes way back. I remember when I lived in ATL I played at the famous 24 hour indoor basketball courts called Run N Shoot. There was this scrawny older white dude killing dudes Pete Maravich style one day. Dude had on some Jean shorts with frayed edges and some beat up hoop shoes. Well anyway I just so happened to leave the gym around the time he did...Dude jumped into a Oxblood Red Porsche 911 Turbo with the whale tail and those wide rear fenders. I was mesmerized at his ride and confused because he almost looked like he was a hobo. Guess he was like a doctor or lawyer that used to hoop and play intramurals back in his college days. But anyway yeah that's why I love the 911, it has a lingering effect on you.

Good luck with that...

"The entire P1 production of 375 units was sold out by November 2013."

seen a yellow and dark red one for sell

its just like the Enzo people will sell them

plus Mclaren plans on making a baby P1 to top the Aventador

NT and their car obsessions.
Its nice.  I appreciate the engineering behind making a car move that fast.  I do not want to spend that much on a car ever in my life.

Just not a car guy

.  Not a watch guy either.

If i hit the lotto id buy a couple plug in cars.  You could catch me dropping 30-40k on a new motorcycle though.  Which is kind of the same but 300k less then a car

I'm sure you can buy them second hand off people, but I'd have to look to see how the prices are doing, are they dropping? Cause I would assume they would hold firm, and as the years go by, those prices will jump up higher, significantly higher.

yeah they have been holding and will only go up after people wreck em and damage them

they built the P1 to be driven into the ground tho. They said they made it so it can go across the country without any problems like most super cars would have

Poor man's veyron tho?

 One of the car rags called it the poor man's Veyron because it runs almost step for step with it until around 100mph, then the Veyron takes over with pure brute force. Of course there's nothing poor about an almost $200k car optioned out but it's not a $1mil car like the Veyron. Put it this way you could own 5 Turbo S for 1 Veyron.

Somebody mentioned the GT3, well yes it's more of a hardcore racer than the Turbo S and the normally aspirated Flat six revs much higher (9000 rpm), but the Turbo S is a little faster and more refined for everyday driving. It's a matter of what a person wants. Both can take the abuse at the track though. You can use launch control on the Turbo S as many times back to back as you want with no issues.

The Enzo Ferrari when first released could only be leased...also you had to have owned a few Ferraris before Ferrari leased it to you. They did this to combat the resellers.

One thing I've heard from more than one R8 driver, is that they said it feels like a more expensive TT and it doesn't feel special enough.

U wot m8 500+ hp mid ship lambo engine is more than enough to differentiate it from a audi tt

Never heard of that comparison before

If I didn't live in SF, nice cars isn't out of the question.

Seen dudes post their house at $220,XXX, compared to SF pricing at 500k+.

GL OP.

I like your story about the old man, but I've learned to not judge others on their cars...but rather on their house (although, different folks, different strokes).
I've seen rich people in SF drive crappy cars and pull into a beautiful house. And nice cars pulling into "meh" houses. Again, it's all preference.

Yeah i've been looking at this in the next few years too after paying off my daily.

That's what's up MA. Man an NT Car Summit would be a great idea in a few years even though we are all too spread out in the US.

I consider the R8 to be an exotic...actually probably moreso than the Turbo S. R8 has more of a visual impact for sure. A Porsche 911 drives by guys in the know will notice it and respect it...but when an R8 rolls by EVERYBODY notices it.

Beautiful car indeed. I would like it in a metallic gray.

Anyone know what the lease packages are like? I can't ever image owning a car like this. Is it even practical?

Got the chance to drive the 911 turbo S during Monterey car week. All I can say is it is worth every penny.
