I understand you're not trying to do much on your laptop, but I will agree with the other poster stay away from the door buster laptops. They're that cheap for a reason.

I copped one in 2009... And its still chugging today...
I normally just reimage them with a ROM from the pirate bay...
So a lot of the bloatware is stripped out.
I've has the high end laptops... I'm good in those... I'm. Good with a lowens slim joint.

I never understood low balling for something like a PC, lol spending 3-400 bucks every 4yrs isnt that smart when you can drop a little more and have it last you 10+ yrs. My 09 MBP still runs like butter, literally runs better than windows 8 laptops dropping now. But whatever your money.

Return or display model. People return things because they can't afford the bill or thought the joint had a cd rom drive among other things. Mine was flawless

During the period of Apple bring in new products, Best Buy is also trying to get rid of product. So lets say Apple is doing 20% off their old model Macbook pros then you see they have that same one you want open box that is usually 10-20% off shoot I seen some for 30-40% off. Finally you still have the Student Discount that you can tac on. It all depends on the GM of the store or the supervisor of the computer area.
