this month my 08 macbook turns 6 years old. aside from the crap battery which i never replaced. thing is running like a damn champ :x

if i didnt experience it i honestly woulnt believe it. before this had a couple PC's and friends had regular laptops. all junk after a year. My brother didnt even have his toshiba laptop for 2 years and it went to crap and had to be scrapped. friend and his mom both had a samsung laptop that each barely lasted over a year :smh:

someone needs to hook me up with a brand new macbook battery on the low.. OEM :nerd:
 
I wasn't disagreeing but it was still dumb to use his as an example when it wasn't 10 years old


Personally I don't want any computer after 5 years

i would pick up shadow of mordor and nba 2k15 if they are 29.99-39.99

i am in a back log of gaming though between madden 2k15 and destiny.. but im sure i could spend a lot of my christmas vacation playing shadow of mordor..lol

if your a student they will send out these student coupons.. and if your moving.. they will send you a 10 percent off coupon..

I stacked my 10 percent coupon and a 150 dollar off a MacBook pro and bought my MacBook when it was on sale for 2469.. so I got 240 plus the 150 off, ended up being 2070 before taxes.. retail is 2599 on those.. 

I got the high end one though 16 gb ram/500 gig SS hardrive

you dont technically have to be a student.. just have a .edu email.. I finished grad school in 2012, but I still have my school email to get the discount..

do you know anyone in college?

its the top of the line MacBook, I use my computer ALL the time and travel for work, so for me I dont mind spending the extra money on something I use so much.. thats how justify it.. lol

it is a 100x better then my laptop PC and so glad i switched.. I plan on using it for 5 plus years..

plus windows 8 is garbage.
