My Boss Doesn't Wash His Hands After Using The Bathroom

I was using the bathroom a few days ago taking a piss. My managing director walks in and precedes to use the stall two spaces over to the right. We have some small chit-chat (I HATE small talk as I'm peeing, but I couldn't ignore him) about the World Series, because he's a huge baseball fan.

As he finishes using the urinal, we still continue to talk while I continue to talk my piss. After the conversation was over, the man just walks out of the bathroom. He doesn't even look at the faucet ONCE. I was standing there in shock. I couldn't believe someone like him simply didn't wash his hands after using the urinal. I thought maybe he forgot or he was in a rush to get back to his office (not an excuse), so I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. We were the only ones in the bathroom.

Fast forward to a half an hour ago--I'm in the bathroom and in he walks in as we're the only two using the bathroom again. We have small talk about the game last night and after the conversation is over, he ends up leaving the bathroom without washing his hands. Now I know he's the type of guy that doesn't wash his hands after the using the bathroom.

My problem is that I see him quite a bit when he's in the office and we shake hands sometimes. After knowing he doesn't wash his hands, how do I figure out a way not to shake his hand anymore?

NT, i'm in a bind here

Dirtbag status smh. In regards to the issue though, you can really just talk face to face with him about it. It may come off as straightforward but heck he may appreciate your boldness. Or you can just leave a note on his desk addressing the situation. Don't make it seem obvious that it's you that has noticed the foul practice, but a simple anonymous note can maybe correct him. My command has "Anymouse" boxes were if we have any issue or have noticed any type of foul practice or wrong doings, we simply write a note to the Commanding Officer and if it's serious enough he'll address it himself but minor issues most of us senior enlisted folks handle it ourselves.

I just can't go into his office and leave a note

The guy has his own corner office and an assistant you have to go through before even going into his office. If I leave a note on his desk, he will know it was me. I'm not trying to step on his toes either. The guy is pretty influential in my company and likes me a lot. He introduces me to all these very senior guys around the company as well. I don't want to mess up a good thing here.

Don't you work in finance or private equity or something Hank? Managing Director? You better shake that man's hand and chalk up the loss lol.

Yeah, I work in Private Equity. The guy is probably going to be a partner in a couple of years.

This is why I'm in a bind!

Humble brag is humble. If I had your job the least of my worries would be if my boss washes his hands. Hell, he can hold my hand all day  no ayo.

But srsly, sounds like you already have your mind made up about not telling him. Keep da sanitizer on deck b.

At this point you might as well give his hands a little peck after every handshake seeing as he is youre only way to the big leagues.

Bruh I see the same kind of filth from the partners at my law firm. These older dudes don't give a damn. Same dudes be in the locker room letting it swing in the breeze. Breaking all the rules. My partner is a woman though so it's no issue (at least to my knowledge). I just keep it moving. I would definitely hand sanitize after every encounter smh

somethings are out of your control... get your hands dirty if he extends his...

It's not a humble brag at all, but I suppose I can see why it would come off that way. I'm just going to keep hand sanitizer on my desk from no won.

He's not my only way to the big leagues, but he is the managing director (top guy in the group) and he happens to like me a lot. He's almost grooming me to one day make it into senior management.

IDK about me being potential partners. He will def. be a partner really soon. I'm only an associate right now. I have a long way to go.

That thought did cross my mind a few times. I immediately rubbed Purell all over my hands

Create a faux email stating that Ebola can spread through testicular residue.

This is sort of a petty issue tho. You've shaken his hand for this long and you haven't caught some terminal illness.

Bruh time is money this guy has no time to wash hands
Seriously though ask around the office if some one can put in a bulk order for Hand Sanitzer or something since its flu season / ebola season.  Maybe if everyone says yeah good idea he will get some too
