your paying to much. insurance usually only go back 3 years. I would try different companies especially ones that go back 3 years

I got 2 dui's, license been suspended multiple times and I only pay $150 a month full coverage for a mustang and Cadillac truck

Something is wrong here. The gtr would be much more than the 328i. The gtr is what at least 100k and bmw max 40k. You can't use the same limits as the Bmw, your pretty much throwing your money, the car away and your life if you get into an accident. an insurance agent will never let you buy that coverage, plus if you can afford a 100k car more than likely you have money so you need higher limits to protect your home, banking accounts, etc in case of a lawsuit.

You don't seem to understand how insurance companies view these things. It's all about risk assessment, the likelihood that the insurance company will actually have to pay out.

GTRs are less likely to be driven daily and less likely to be in a collision. This means the insurance companies will be far less likely to have to pay out on the GTR's policy than that of the 328.

It's the same reason old Hondas can be so expensive. They are very likely to be involved in collisions and stolen, resulting in a very high level of risk for the insurance company.

Yeah Im clueless but somehow I get paid to do this. I seen people get quoted for 2500-8000 a year for the insurance. Location is a factor, but your assets are very important and so is the car price and vehicle accident history. Any sports car with that much power will cost a lot to cover even a gt500 or is-f is expensive. We know people are fools in these vehicles. If want to get the bare minimal and not protect yourself when you you get sued for killing someone, than go cheap as a bmw 328i and lose your home, savings, job, whatever, jail time. It's your life,
 
Somebody school me on this 500 vs 1000$ deductible and which one would be smarter for me , just got a quote from Geico they can give me full coverage and 1000$ deductible for 188$ a month after the first four months it will go down to 177 .

you got $1,000 on deck for every occurrence?  look at it this way will the reduction in premium be worth it to come out of pocket $1,000 or less if your repairs don't exceed that? consider how big the difference in monthly premium versus how much you want to have to pay if anything happens.  

i work in insurance, albeit not auto, and almost everybody i deal with has nothing but regrets when choosing a high deductible.
 
Called Geico last night and I was quoted $160/month with full coverage for a 2015 BMW 528xi. It may go down if I take a defensive drivers course.

I'm 27 and live in NYC. Is this a good rate? The guy on the phone kept telling me it was and wanted me to get the policy right away. I felt like it wasn't that great of a deal and hung up on him :lol:
 
You should know something is up if people are trying to expediently close a deal. :lol:

"Hurry up, get the policy! Its the best one you'll find! I might get stuck with the steak knives!"

Sounds like a decent deal, but you can probably find better.

Really? I want to ask people what their insurance rates are like, but they're either much older than me or they have some serious blemishes on their driving record. I want to see a comparison with someone like me driving a 2015 BMW 528xi.

This is what I was thinking. He seemed really eager to close the deal and wanted to expedite this process. He was asking me how I wanted to pay and how wonderful Geico is :lol:

Just called progressive and threatened to leave, they found a way to lower it by $10. So now it's around 106/month.
 
I met a dude that's 21, has a 2015 300 that's clean as hell. Son is paying 380 for insurance a month :x
