What a disgusting and irresponsible thread not shocked given who started this thread.

The vilification of so many people based on the actions of some

Was slavery a Christian attack?

Is the klu klux klan a Christian terrorist group?

This **** has to stop, the fear mongering against Islam in this country is terrifying, there are soo many people in this country who hate an entire religion they know nothing about, because the media tells them to, thru bigoted headlines like the title of this thread.

So a psychopath carrying an axe is considered a terrorist attack now?
America has the standards of a 12 year old girl.

@a-friend

This is the reason people "get sideways with the troll comments" towards blco02 blco02 .

OP has been making threads like this and posting pro Wilson crap in Mike Brown thread and you wonder why people call him a troll or SWS.

What kind of man wakes up looking to spread hate via the Internet, I just don't get it.

Life too short for all that, why not throw your passion behind something positive.

Sad part is people are still pumping this kind of hate into their children.

I'm surprised this isn't already locked up. :rolleyes

It's pretty ridiculous that some people still need to be explained to that these people that commit these crimes are not Muslim. People are still looking at the smaller pictures even after everything has happened. I guess you can't teach people to think on their own...

Did you do any research on the story, or just wanted to make a quip and try to sound quasi intelligent? Because your comment is off base and you come off foolish.

He had posts on his FB about only being successful in attacks via guerrilla warfare. There is a investigation on his possible ties to Islamist terrorists. He was a recent convert and clearly had many screws loose.

If the investigation comes back and ties him to a organization that has fueled or backed his thinking - then an attack on cops with a hatchet could certainly be deemed an act of terrorism.

Because when you break it down it's a act of violence against a law enforcement group with the intentions of "guerrilla warfare" as he personally stated.

Does it represent Islam as a whole, of course not - anyone that thinks that is naive, but to say the act doesn't come from a place of hate with the intention to propel the ideals behind his radical thinking would also be naive.

With this logic, if I go shoot a cop right now it's possible I'm in Al Queda...

Extremist is the word you're conveniently forgot. Make sure you emphasize that it's a radical member of a non-threatening religious people and not a generalization of a whole religion.

your argument loses validity when you admit he has screws loose..

But, um, he was Muslim. Same as the guy in Canada who shot the soldier on Wednesday.

They're saying the guy in Canada has no ties to extremist groups that they know of. Also was apparently a mentally ill crackhead.
