Jordan Retro 1 High “Laser” aka Custom Lasers Thread

I'm going to start working on mine. Guys who did Breds, what color did you use for sole dye? Oxblood seems a bit too dark to me. For the finisher, is krylon matte the choice or angelus matte first then krylon matte?

Damn no size 11's left on 23Penny or Eastbay. Cheap pairs are starting to dry up and dudes on eBay are still charging retail.

Go with the Angelus matte finisher first, and then the krylon matte spray after.

Just finished doing my Fragments. They turned out well, can't really complain. The wings were more difficult than I thought though. I used salon 40 and royal blue Rit liquid dye for the soles. Gonna do some Shadows in the next week or two. Good thing about those is I can completely skip painting the wings lol.

I just landed a NDS pair for 105 shipped. I personally don't need them DS because I'm going to customize them.

Anyone know how to make the custom laser 1 to where you dont see the laser after it is done? I will be doing a custom myself (no not anything OG or anything that released already or ever) and would like to not have the laser showing if possible.

...yeah...it's called customizing a shoe that isn't lasered...

Has it been done already

I want to say no, the lasering should be etched into the shoe far enough so it will always show through, even with the thickest paint jobs. Don't quote me on it though.

thats what i figured but was just wondering if through my searches i passed over something i was missing, its not a deal breaker just wondering

Took a stroll to my mall today in these to look for deals on some beaters for work. Feels good to get complemented on my work. I always gotta get that one dude who asks if I can make him a pair lol. Had a dude at a shoe palace ask me for a Royals custom and I told him I charge a pair of laser 1s lol. Gave him my number and if he comes thru ill make his customs and have another pair for me to make another pair of customs
