Nah. Lasers as far as I know weren't faked. I think part of the reason is their demand and price tag + detail on the shoe most likely wasn't worth the effort. You can still find them in some stores.

Asteroid Foams were STILL around for $250 last month.
My local mom and pop does a "Shoe plan" where if you buy 8 shoes within 2 years they deduct that price from your next purchase. I sucked it up for that and paid $162 for my pair.

Not everything on Taobao is fake though or unauthorized. There is a huge sneakerhead culture in China and you'd be surprised how much they're also into authentics over there. This isn't to say that some fake Lasers didn't exist, but I'm just saying just because it's on Taobao doesn't mean it's fake.

I disagree. For 1 laser 1's are nice with or without a "body kit". Secondly, some of these customs are looking better than the actual lasers.

Looking to do a couple of customs (depends on the first attempt): laser boards and laser celtics. I am wondering if anyone's attempted the laser celtics (DMP is my muse) and which angelus green paint used to achieve the green (midnight green or just green) ... Same question for laser boards - shade of orange used.

Getting the colors to match is the problem. You'd have to paint that white to sail. Once that's done how horrible could they be? Other than no customizing skill.
