Jordan VI Retro release questions- New to buying retros on RD

Hey all,

I came on here mostly for my 5 1/2 year old. He wants Jordans for Xmas and since the VI's are coming out on Black Friday, it's a great shoe to get him. Jordan VI and VII's are my personal favorites, straight from my high school days.

He loves black and he was intrigued by the tongue pull along with the one on the back.

I don't collect but I got what I need.

-My original  VII's

-2000 Retro VI's

-Super Bowl Trainer 1's

I live in Long Island, NY and work in NYC

I sat our once to get the Retro VI's back in 2000 but it was simple back then- just be there at Niketown when the doors opened.

I feel since then the lines and hype have been longer and larger.

So my questions are:

-What is better, camping out or waiting for online to post?

-What time do you have to start camping out?

-My size is 11, I wanted to pick up the new retro VI's because they are better than my old Retro VI's. So to get that size, do I have to be there earlier to camp?

-Do the sell the kids' sizes also on the release date? My son is a kids 1.5-2

-how many Jordans can you purchase at one time? 1 size per customer? 2? would I be able to get both mine and my son's?

I have no qualms sitting out for something early if needed. I'm sat all day for movie premires so it's really nothing. I just want to know what to expect on release day.

Nowadays, stores are actually doing raffles for Jordan releases. Use the Footlocker Launch Locator  to see what Footlockers/House of Hoops near you are doing raffles. Also check local stores that sell Jordans to see what their policy is for the release. It's usually first come first serve (FCFS) or raffle. Make sure you ask the policies for BOTH mens sizes and kid sizes!

I, personally, would try as many raffles as possible first. If you don't win any of them, then try online on release morning.

Since this is a general release, they will have GS sizes. They will definitely have them available online. Ask your local stores if they will carry them.

It seems like 1 is the norm nowadays, but since you are also trying to buy a kid size, they may let you get yours and your son's. If you are really worried, just call the store to check, or bring your girlfriend/wife with you.
