Kyrie 1

I wore my DR for another 2 hour scrimmage last night and they keep getting better.
Ankle support is not as good as KD V that iv played in the past 3 year, but I'm 100% going to be finally leaving the KD V behind and move on to these, these do need some break in but all shoes do.
Oh and they maybe tight & snug at first but after a few times playing in them they really loose that.
Heel slippage is present each time too, that sucks, but once your feet warm up that stops due to the warmth in shoe / sock.

Can't wait for BHM to arrive.

Definitely gonna try and grab the ASG's to hoop in.

Yeah they definitely REALLY hurt my feet when I was breaking them in. Now that they're broken in though they just keep getting better. They are probably one of my favorite shoes to ball in right now.
 
And as far as the price hike goes, Nike has been marking up the price for XMAS, BHM, an ASG stuff for like 4 years now... I'm surprised people still aren't use to it
$20 isn't that bad

Repped when I get some more. I can't front, ASG kicks were never on my radar like that till 2012 because the kicks actually felt like a different incarnation of the regular stuff they put out all year (and years before that too, Bron 7 ASG made me look tho). I came from a era of black/white, white/black colorways all day so I'm good on that and theres a bunch of lines that make simple ish. When ASG time comes around, I want some flashyness. Dudes talking about big bangs and such, but those kicks are once in a while shoes, like the ASG which comes once a year. They make simple ish all year

I don't remember xmas being marked up besides SS kobe 8 until this year. The kobe 9 was $225 but the lebron and KD were $20 up. The WTK 8 was the same $140 retail but the 9 jumped $50 to $275

Since when did an all star shoe have to be bright and flashy to look good? some of my favorite all star shoes are just simple colorways. Lebron 4 ASGs (gold/white), kobe 4 (red/white), lebron 2 ASG (grey/blue), and columbia 11s (basically all white shoe) just to name a few. Sometimes the louder ones look good, but in my opinion it doesnt HAVE to be loud and flashy to be dope. I love how these kyries look. It's a pretty simple upper with the purple fade sole and hints of 3M. I will definitely be grabbing a pair if I can.

I guess my complaint stems from the fact that most of my shoes are black or grey based. I'm trying to add some more color to my repertoire, not add more of the same. I mean I might still get the Kyrie's, but this years AS pack that we've seen so far has been underwhelming

Does this dude have tiny feet or does he like stuffing his foot into shoes that are almost too small for him? :lol: I swear every shoe I've seen Kyrie wear since he got to the league has looked like his foot is going to bust out of.

What size is kyrie? Like an 11 or 11.5
