Kyrie 1

I wouldn't mind paying $130-140 for a full length zoom set up. As long as the traction is the same and a little bit better heel lock down I would be happy.

I feel like they won't. KDs didn't go up until a couple shoes in, and I think Nike only bumped the KD price up because Kobes are on their way out and Kyries were on their way in.

They bump the kd price because of the hype and success of the kd4. Before that his shoe wasn't as popular and if im correct it even decreased in price once

I'm not going to say you're wrong but I don't see Nike making a big bump because then who takes the low-end of the market? Kyries are dope but you can't say that part of their popularity isn't attributed to their low price.

As long as Kobe's playing he's getting a shoe and he's guaranteed another year, right? So we're safe from a big price hike for now. Bron and KD will keep running things. Price hikes will probably start around the 4 or 5. KD's were no more than $150 until the 8.

honestly, i just love the look and fit of this shoe, the cheap price is just a nice little bonus. I may not have gotten all the colorways (like ASG and Cool Greys since they were straigh impulse buys) but i deffinitely would have copped others even if they were more expensive

^ I was going to get the Brotherhood one, the black & white is nice and simple though i like it

Yea i see your point. The takedown models (soldiers kdtrey5 etc.) tho take the low end of the market since its alternative to the sig model. I also think because kyrie has a decent after market (because of low price and quick sell out) i can see nike capitalize on that and raise the price steadily. Just like the kd4 that was $95 after the success of it the kd5 was $115 now the kd8 are gonna be $180. So the price hike will come. Just wonder what kyrie model will start the trend. And when the trend starts we will see a takedown model for kyrie

FYI- If you have ordered from Sports Authority, they are sending out $25 off single item coupons in the mail.

Played a couple hours in these for the first time last night. Comfy out of the box. Great traction and fit. Went with my true size of 9.5. Stopped abruptly on a hard cut and kind of jammed my big right toe. I assume it's because the hard rubber traction pattern goes up on the medial side of the shoe. Toe space is perfect so I didn't want to go up half a size. Should I remain patient and will this break in some more and mold to my foot (width wise) or should I go up half a size and just deal with the extra toe space?

I never had issues with my big toe, just the pinky. I would feel it the most when cutting and after several hours. Put moleskin inside the shoe, it should help. Shoe took me several wears at the office and painful practices and games before they broke in

I see your point too, but man if I actually balled I wouldn't want to settle for a takedown model. I understand money is an issue for people and families but that doesn't stop them from wanting the real thing. So if you were given the choice of a takedown or another player's signature which would it be? Assuming you don't love the heck out of LeBron/Kobe/KD, I'd 100% go with Kyrie's sig. I'm not saying the price won't go up, I'm just saying they won't go up by much until a couple models in.

Where? I'm a 8.5

It was on footlocker website yesterday morning. They are sold out now. In other news, FinishLine cancelled my order for BHM's yesterday. That's the second time in 2 months. Not sure why I still order from them.
