These shoes are for charity,so yeah i dont mind taking off work to support the kids who entered a contest just to design the shoe, and ultimately become sneaker legends.each kid is very sick and the shoes are often very creative so i dont mind camping a day or 2.

or you can just give to the charity they always taken donations.

if thats your motivation for waiting 2 days

its a line of 45 ppl in front nike for tickets..so each store is going to have 2000+ entries?this is more of a mess than ever

i like it when u can earn your sneakers like a man by camping, rsvp takes the fairness out the hobby. Now that nike wants to screw ppl over the ny gun incident no kids are getting he db 8s.in fact, the price on ebay has skyrocketed for gs and mens.A raffle is a sham.I hope 21 mercer is fcfs ,i dont mind taking off work and being a warrior.its kinda fun until knuckleheads ruin it
Camping is for fools and the unemployed.  If you feel you aren't either then you need to ask yourself what your doing with your life.

The lack of thought in your statement is what gets the rest of us lumped into a group as irresponsible/loser sterotypical sneakerheads.  Actively taking the day off from earning money to trick yourself into believing your saving money by not paying resale is lunacy.  You could earn more money at work to pay resale than you'd save by paying retail and taking the day off.

god people love to complain about everything (not solely directed at quoted poster) Typical jb thread.

How is this more of a mess than rsvp?? I dont get your guys reasoning.
Just SOME examples: with rsvp u can have a family of people in china all sending multiple rsvps to multiple niketowns and either not pick them up or use a proxy service to get them shipped to china
-rsvp bots grabbing up all the shoes for resale

Also people claiming rigged...I don't see how this method is any more rigged than previous methods of release

Well said and its about time someone said this...I would also add wasting time going around for raffles in there.

Nothing wrong with being unemployed if you got that bread. That's my goal in life, to not have to work. Mind you when I get there I wont camp for shoes but hopefully you get my point...

That was my goal in life as soon as I graduated from college.

12 years later and I'm not even close.

Then again my idea of living is probably quite different than most of you.

BTW, there's plenty wrong with being unemployed but to each their own.

We all have different ideas of what an accomplishment is and what a lack or effort or desire is.

I wonder if they disqualify kids with their momma/dad, but the better for us :pimp:

Camping is crazy... waiting in line for a couple hours is okay but to sit outside for days or a week for a shoe is insane.. thats missed work missed time.. missed time in a comfortable bed.. all for what.. a shoe?.. not worth it.. I mean the yeezy's is the exception ebcause who is gonna make 4-8k in two weeks at a job for the most part.. but still even then thats insane..

So is owning your own thriving business unemployed?what aif u can t work or find a job?lets not point fingers.its always someone with more financial power.
