Just of the top of my head i know some of the companies founded or head quarters in my city (Baltimore) is:

Under Armour
Stanley Black n Decker
McCormick
Old Bay
Constellation Energy
Royal Farms
T Rowe Price
Transamerica
Legg Mason etc.

Philadelphia has a couple big ones. Comcast, Urban Outfitters, and Destination Maternity are the three biggest I know of.
 
question: heard people in the East coast don't know what TD stands for... this true??

lol it's crazy though that it's one of the biggest banks in the East coast, yet no one knows where it originated.
