Thirsty NY Street Cats vol. Is it cause I'm ugly?!

   I love NY. Man  I aint hear ppl say GOD bless so much in one vid ever. Pretty obvious she had a phatty.

Nothing wrong with the vid though. No verbal harassment at all.

The Daily Show piece about this in NYC did a much better job of exposing what this chick failed at.

i don't see any instance where this "chick" is 'feeling herself a bit much"

she didn't do anything to give off that vibe. she didn't give anyone the feeling that it was ok to approach or harass her
Historically and socially speaking, hasn't it always been the guy goes and speaks to the female most times?

Trying to initiate a conversation with a stranger that you find attractive on a respective level usually always starts with simple manners, "hello, how are you?" From the female a simple, "no not interested" or "I'm well" and keep it moving is really all it takes. It's simple etiquette. Misinterpreting non-invasive greetings for harassment isn't going to get this cause any positive attention. Especially since remaining silent is a rude response to a respectful greeting.

Are there inappropriate advances in the video? Yes.

Is this video the best way to showcase this? No.

Additionally, your not going to find support on this issue when someone essentially has a problem with being told that they look nice too much.  Comparatively you have the digital age of ego self masturbation where people do so much to receive a 'like' on a multitude of different social media platforms and don't know how to handle the pseudo-celeb attention that comes with that in real life.

Is this an issue for women? Yes, but with a caveat of women having to accept that social norm of when a man finds a woman attractive, most times he's is going to speak. The line of whether the words spoken are subjectively appropriate or not is too slippery of a slope to get a universal standard behind.

This dude Don Ramon

If his father didn't "harass" his moms back in the day he wouldn't even be here to type his BS.

Don usually plays the "opposite guy" part but usually has ground to stand on at least. There really is nothing to argue here.

I mean there were some who went overboard but it sounded like there was an equal amount of respectful approaches.

I mean how else do you go about this process? If she doesn't like men who approach her does she do the opposite and approach the guy she has her eye on? Does that count as harassment on her part?

the best way is to keep your mouth closed. stalk the girl and watch her movements for at least a week. Analyze the best circumstance where you can freely approach her without her being weirded out (e.g. whole foods, gym, theatre workshop). Make an innocuous comment at said venue, and engage in a courtship with said stalking victim subject.

She better not ever move to the south, I say hi to almost anyone I see man or woman, it's just polite.

Interesting point. Manners seem to be a regional thing. NY'ers must be rude antisocial, and horrible people to think a hello is an act of sexual misconduct. Lord help girls is someone opens the door for them..... That's grounds for sexual offense. Girls want a prince charming yet when someone is nice to them it offends them.

She'll consider that harassment as well -- peacefully shopping for groceries and some guy keeps talking to her.

I'm the total opposite of those guys. But after watching that video I feel motivated to spit some darts.
