Mad? No, chances are there's 100 other people walking on that same street I'll ask someone else. Why can't people accept that not everybody wants to be bothered? Some people just want to get to their destination without interruptions. Not everybody comes outside to be friendly.
 
She doesn't have to respond but trying to talk to someone in public is not automatically harassment
