Movie was ok, it was exactly what I expected which is just a prologue to the final film.

Got to admit the ending was intense.

Acting was pretty damn good too.
 
I started reading the third book a while ago but put it down because it was so slow, especially in comparison to the first two. I'm going to try to get through again before the movie comes out
 
Went to see it last night. Pretty good. Had not read any of the books so the ending definitely surprised me. Can't see J-Law without visions of those nudes popping up in my head though.
 
I know it's only the first part but I found this movie kind of boring until the very end
 
Just came back from watching it and although my expectations were low from reading the book I was surprised that I enjoyed it for the most part. They cut out the excess storyline bloat in the first handful of chapters which I was worried about going into the film.

I did like that they added a bunch of scenes at the end that are not in the book. The whole rescue mission for Peeta, Johanna, and Annie was not shown in great detail, in the book Haymitch just informs Katniss that the team has made it back. Also I thought they should have ended the film when Peeta chokes Katniss instead of having Coin give that speech. That cliffhanger, I felt, would have fit better.
 
So freaking good. Love this movie series man, love it to death

Love these movies man, more than batman, more than spiderman . Favorite movie series, Whenever that box set drops it's coming home with me

Thought it was gonna end there myself it seemed like it fit.
 
Moive was okay, I wish they had made this just one flim.
Was there an end credit seen? The usher said there was one but I didn't really want to wait.
 
Movie was ok, I agree with 6/10 rating

I like when she is in combat more than crying for peeta
 
Read 2/3 of the book before watching earlier today and went on to finish the last 1/3 after. Definitely more action will be shown in Part 2 along with a few WTF moments imo. I feel as if any final book that is split into two movies has to be watched all at once before fully evauluating it. Sure, right now the film may seem incomplete with a lot of filler but the second film can either confirm these complaints or wash them away.

Still think that this series specifically should have been finished with three films though, but money talks.
 
Movie was meh. I get what they were trying do as far as setting everything up for Part 2 but it just wasn't properly executed in my opinion. Really drawn out. I'd agree with the 6/10 rating.
